Don't worry... I have to re-edit the chart pretty soon, I'm just rushing things

So

45 weeks top 75 for Sex On Fire in 47 weeks of release

44 weeks top 75 for Use Somebody in 45 weeks of release

45 weeks top 16 for Only By The Night in 45 weeks of release

Yeah, KoL are doing well. SOF is back above US though :o

Good newies from Lily Allen and MSTRKRFT, and crap for P!nk not top 40 this week. Will be next week, but it'll be about #32 max :nocheer:

The Twang and Taylor Swift are bad, and I haven't heard a-ha or Chris Brown.

Deadmau5 & Kaskade and Florence + The Machine (YGTL) both still top 75 is great. The Prodigy too. I hope it can outstay Omen in the top 75 but that is doubtful. 19 weeks for Omen vs 15 weeks so far for Warrior's Dance.

There's my singles commentary, albums later.

Thank god for a decent #1 after that rubbish of the last 2 weeks

Britney seems to be flopping :cheer:

Funhouse is about 42 places too low, I think there's been a mistake here :heehee:  hopefully top 40 next week!

46 72 2 Britney Spears Radar

No surprise these two year old track failing the top 40 and being her worse peak ever

50 N 1 Mstrkrft Heartbreaker

this deservers to be so much higher

On the other hand nice to see these two appear

60 N 1 Lily Allen 22

66 N 1 A-ha Foot Of The Mountain

As I understand OCC Chart Rules, this Album should be in the Main/Artist Album Chart

- not in the Compilation Chart:,

I honestly can't understand how Love Sex Magic has been around for so long selling close to 300k, and Work can't even make the top 50, despite being at least as good if not far superior

I agree.

Why Radio 1 refused to playlist it is beyond me! :/

Is it demographics of the download buyers?

JT and Ciara aimed at over 18's while Saturdays aimed at under 18's?

Again demographics. Radio one only caters for college kids university students :P and old men, i.e someone over 18 who would or could have a credit card.

Eugh I know! :arrr:

'Work' is by far Ciara's best single to date imo. No idea why it's flopping so much - obviously the lack or radio 1 support is a major factor, but it's always on the music channels...

They mean Ciara's Work, not The Saturdays ;)

I think Ciara 'Work' is non-daytime radio friendly, but if it's in the music channels anytime, I should be surprised that they didn't playlist it.

Boots album is rising!

SO happy BEP got #1. Totally deserving song, really feel good and euphoric.

I think "Love Sex Magic" is much better, though both are great.

The only explanation I can give for them not playlisting "Work" is because of who the two tracks feature. Radio 1 would have probably ignored Ciara based on her last era, but with a big name like Justin on the track they could almost pass it off as his new single (I'm sure I heard it being called 'the new JT single' a few times) so they played "Love Sex Magic" because of him.

But "Work" is very much a Ciara song and Missy isn't quite up there with Justin in terms of Radio 1 appeal and Ciara on her own isn't 'Radio 1 audience'. The fact that it's just as catchy as the last single, has a really good video (that caused the song to soar up the iTunes chart when released), her last single went top 5 and it sold well seems to mean nothing to them. :(
