August 18, 200915 yr My guesses are Sugababes, Muse, Madonna and Robbie. I think Aqua and Preston can be safely discounted. I also think GaGa's shifted just a few too many albums now to get another #1 single.
August 18, 200915 yr Calvin Harris confirmed on Radio 1 that Dizzee's single is out 24th August. So I think he'll have a week at #1, then Sugababes will get it.
August 18, 200915 yr LMAO - how on earth will Cascada - "Dangerous" get to no. 1? I think Madonna, Shakira, Sugababes, Dizzee, MIKA and Muse will though.
August 18, 200915 yr I would like to think Cascada were heading for another number 1, but TBH I doubt this one could even go Top 20. They're going the same route as the previous album, leaving the obvious hits as album tracks  'Breathless' ESPECIALLY is crying out for a release!
August 18, 200915 yr Madonna will certainly (i wish they would pull their fingers out though!!!), I'm pretty sure Sugababes will too. Mika and Shakira should do. I have a feeling Muse will just miss out :( I doubt GaGa will, but i think she'll do a Beyonce... It'll hang around in the top 20 for an eternity... hopefully it will outpeak Paparazzi though. August 18, 200915 yr I'm doubtful about Madonna, really, the song is not THAT good. And about others from the list: there are TOO many of them for all of them to get #1! I think it might be: 24th Aug: David Guetta & Akon - Sexy Bitch 31st Aug: Dizzee Rascal & Chrome - Holiday 6th Sep: Sugababes - Get Sexy (or Dizzee for the 2nd week?) 13th Sep: Mika - We Are Golden? Mini Viva - Left My Heart In Tokyo? Muse - Uprising? Or Sugababes for the second week (or even the first after Dizzee's fall? ) We might really have very long list of changings of #1s every week!
August 18, 200915 yr Well this week is going to be David Guetta. Next Week It'll be Dizzee Rascal Then Sugababes And finally Pixie Lott We are going to have a massive run of 1 week #1 singles for a few months now.
August 18, 200915 yr We might really have very long list of changings of #1s every week! I'm dreading that to be honest, I can see the #1 changing a few times in the next few weeks, till Leona and Alexandra Burke releases. I'm hoping Madonna will hold on for a fortnite, its her comeback single, but Shakira usually does well with her comeback singles as well.
August 18, 200915 yr And finally Pixie Lott We are going to have a massive run of 1 week #1 singles for a few months now. I personally can't see Pixie Lott having another #1, she is going to get stuck with all the heavyweights in the top 5, I think she has had her lott this year, pardon the pun. ===== Lady GaGa might have to settle for a lower position with LoveGame, since Poker Face and Paparazzi are still in the top 40, also her album has shed loads.
August 18, 200915 yr Guettakon this week (BEP #2) Dizzee next (Guettakon #2) Dizzee again next (Sugas #2) Mika/Dizzee again next (Dizzee/Mika #2, Pixie #3, Sugas #4) Madonna next (Dizzee #2, Mika/Sugas #3/4) Madonna again next (Dizzee #2, Shakira #3) I think Dizzee's Holiday will have a much better chart run and better sales than Bonkers. It'll go 1-1-1or2-2-2-... Also, Robbie and JLS are practically certs (unless the public have decided to hate Robbie). Sats and Cascada will flop. Second Sugas single I'm not sure about, might be a #1 but I don't think it (or Get Sexy for that matter) will get #1... Whitney isn't exactly the most relevant person in music right now, so I can't see her being above top 20 or so Leona and Alexandra, unless released in the same week, are both certs. Lady GaGa's LoveGame will be anywhere from #4 to #9. Possibly even lower. It comes off a pretty big album and she's already had two #1s and a #4 off said album... Edited August 18, 200915 yr by B-rye
August 18, 200915 yr Don't forget that 'Get Sexy' is #1 on the pre-orders while 'Holiday' was only at 4 on Friday... The things could go either way. And plus, sales of 'Bonkers' have really slumped down on their second week: 114.165 -> 63.141 copies which is -44,7% from the first week! I can see the same thing with the 'Holiday' sales to be honest: it will hardly sell more than 70k on its second week, and it's not so hard for Sugababes to beat it. We'll see anyway!
August 18, 200915 yr I think Dizzee will get it next week on downloads and the Sugas the week after. Pixie could do it the week after - seems to be gaining momentum
August 18, 200915 yr LMAO - how on earth will Cascada - "Dangerous" get to no. 1? I think Madonna, Shakira, Sugababes, Dizzee, MIKA and Muse will though. Muse?? They've never come *close* to having a #1 single!
August 18, 200915 yr I think out of that list: Dizzee Rascal/Chrome Sugababes Muse (hopefully anyway...if Mika of all people prevents them from getting to #1 I will not be happy!) Madonna Shakira
August 18, 200915 yr My bets are on Sugababes, Dizzee, Shakira and Madonna. I don't think Lady GaGa will get to #1 with 'Lovegame', but definitely top 5. I also think Pixie Lott has a good chance of getting top 2 at least, same for Mika even though I can't stand him or the song.
August 18, 200915 yr Muse?? They've never come *close* to having a #1 single! 'Supermassive Black Hole' peaked at #4 in 2006...and with each release they seem to be getting bigger. Plus, since when does what has happened in the past matter?! Three/four years ago, who would've thought that Dizzee would have 2 #1s?!
