From the same fertile 'Thamesbeat' scene that spawned the Mystery Jets and the Guillemots, U.K. singer-songwriter Jamie T was London's own answer to the Streets. His debut single, "Sheila," displayed the influence of reggae and scrambled lo-fi pop, and grazed the U.K. Top 20. His profile was further boosted by a successful remix of the Gorillaz track "Kids With Guns," and his second single, "If You've Got the Money," was an even bigger hit. PANIC PREVENTION, the debut album (named after a club night he had run), furthered both T's hit-making status and his artistic credibility when it was released in early 2007. - HMV

Good tune from Jamie T. and easily the best tune he has ever recorded. by the way Chaka Demus was the aritst (who along with the Pilers) hit the UK chart in the 90s with songs like "Murder She Wrote", "Tease Me" and a pretty good chart topping remake of "Twist And SHout"

Thank god this crap isn't top 15, here's hoping for a very short chart run.

Not top 15 :(.

Aww, I hoped this would reach top 5 or something. Obviously not.

Love this song.

IS IT THE WAY I MOVE THAT MAKES YOU STOP AND STARE?

Still adore this song, shame it won't be the hit it should be.

Heard say it for first time. Sounds very ordinary to me.

I regret every bad thing I said about this song.

Grown on me and the video is so sad.

Glad this is still top 15. :)

How can you say that this is crap??!!

Because I hate it. Fairly simple, yes?

-x-

RE: Just Jack

I'm actually very surprised to see this as a non-mover. I know he has three versions top 100 on iTunes, but I still thought this would fall at least a few places. Great song still

Glory Days is still his best song though. Gutted that that flopped so badly.

2007 74 Writer's Block

2009 17 Embers

2009 11 The Day I Died

So pleased this has done well!

His singles from this album have been so much better than from his last one.

Booty Luv :( They should release it at the start of August and not at the same week with very similar 'Get Sexy' which was written to be big!
I hope Wale & Gaga are top 10. probably not but I really hope so. :D

Doubt it. This track is already around #30 in iTunes and it will fall MASSIVELY next week, so I don't think this track deserves top-10 placing.

Vera Lynn is #2, that's rather pleasing I suppose. I wish it was #1 though. I don't *particularly* like Vera, but it'd be better her at the top than the Arctics as they already had one week.

Hudson falling. Also getting boring pretty quickly now for me :(
