  1. I liked 'Bamboogie' as a kid at the school discos, and I have fond memories of it in that respect but it definitely doesn't sound as good now.
  2. Yeah exactly, and it counts as a stream if you don't skip within 30 seconds. I can't tell you the amount of times I've accidentally given a stream to something I don't like because it came on next and I was too distracted to change it in a hurry!
  3. I think we're years past the notion of having a chart that's properly representative full stop, I mean it's already been modified beyond recognition as it is.
  4. 'Neon Blue' is good and everything, but 'Deeper Shade of Blue' really is something else beyond compare.
  5. 'Diamonds' is the only one I properly dislike here, so that. I suppose next it's 'SOS' but they're all fab!

As I started following music and the charts around February that year, I wasn't hugely aware of Kylie before this point (aside from knowing a handful of songs). I'm always intrigued by whether it was thought at the turn of the millennium she'd ever pull something like this off, or if even in the run to to the release it was completely unexpected - I'd only seen she was at #1 before having heard the song yet!
  7. This is like choosing between having your toenails individually pulled out or being waterboarded. Also yes. That's So True, Not Like Us and 12 weeks of Ordinary in comparison. I really don't think so...

Kesha was always the better artist.

Wow, Placebo's 'Running Up That Hill' has done seriously well to reach gold over time! It's now only behind 'Every You Every Me' which is also gold certified, with 'Nancy Boy' and 'Pure Morning' silver.
  10. Yes yes yes! Way better than Tate McRae in every way!
  11. 'Walk of Fame' is the absolute highlight on this
  12. As the album's still months away, is that gonna be the single before the album?
