A new year of countless fabulous musical festivities, including the biggest of them all – the prominent Buzzjack Song Contest. Anything can happen from here; Persephonia could actually vote, Kylienips win or FSR Rontvia might even DNQ for once! Who knows? Although for a certain there will be some new countries joining, a great deal of flops, a handful of life enhancing moments and a whole lot of musical discoveries which makes everything worth your while. In the last contest of 2011 every country in the Buzzjack world witnessed the debut win of Greenfroze! Our nation qualified for the final and we were represented in that final by Rachel Platten, who performed the magnificent song 1000 ships. She won with 148 points in the end! The Presidential King of Greenfroze has now declared a new tradition with The Green Color Festival being the yearly celebration to mark the nations debut win. The festival is expected to attract thousands of people in the capital of Green Forest city later this month. Greenergy TV is honored by the chance to present the entire contest, and the time has finally come to open the official Green Room connected to the first, international Buzzjack Song Contest of 2012 – BJSC XLI. In this month’s virtual Green Room we have taken the liberty to have several, actual, virtual green rooms built to extend the experience of being together and share and discuss our inner thoughts, feelings, observations, arguments, musical tastes and so on. I have some additional information regarding this contest. As ever since my official debut win in a main contest I’ve been eagerly brainstorming ambitious ideas on how to host, present and conceptualize BJSC XLI. You have already seen some of my ideas, and for me to make this contest just as I visualized it (i.e. PERFECT) I – first of all - need every nation to have their own national flag. And I can tell you right now before you start thinking “I can’t make my own flag, I don’t know how!” or “NO! I refuse! It’s too much work, you depraved clown!” it’s actually not too difficult to make an original flag! As a MINIMUM, you can do the following: 1. Search for a picture of a person, item, symbol or various graphics – and resize it depending on its original size. For instance, my Greenfroze flag is simply comprised of two green dices (and a small white spiral) in a simple, black background. http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af169/Greenfroze/terningenetilNicolai.jpg I like it! :D 2. Or you could easily make one in paint – by first coloring the entire background in any color you want. Then make a square, and then a straight line both horizontally and vertically. Like this! If you have experience in making decent graphical stuff from before, then you know exactly what do to! ^_^ 4. Also, you could always ask someone you know if they can perhaps make one for you or if anyone else in here volunteered if ever needed, then that would be great as well! It’s that simple, takes only a couple of minutes.. and no one expects you to make a flashy, fancy and OMFG AMAZING flag… because there are many ways of making a flag, and as long as it looks like a flag I will accept it! The good thing too is you have until I need to post the semi final threads to either post the flag in the Country flags thread (found here!) or send it to me via PM. Also, look through that thread if you are in need of some inspiration. If you already have a flag posted in the Country Flags thread, then you don’t need to send me one! It will be fantastic if everyone gets on board with this and has a flag to represent their nation in BJSC XLI as then it definitely is going to look OMFG AMAZING! At least I hope so! ^_^ ------------------ Important XLI information! Dates and times: 20th of January – Confirmation opens! (Opened sometime between 6pm to 8 pm CET) 26th of January – End of Confirmation. 27th of January – Semi finals begin! 3rd of February – Semi final voting ends! 4th of February – Semi final results presentation show! 5th of February – Final begins! 10th of February – Final voting ends! 11th or 12th of February – depending on how much preparation time I need – Final results presentation show! Specific clockwork for every stage of the competition will be written in each of the respective thread’s opening posts. BJSC XLI’s original rules on confirmation: - Before you confirm (without reading the opening post :angry: ) I want you to know that I am allowing only ONE CHANGE to your selected entry. There is a lot of preparation to be done this time and I will be extremely irritated and flustered if people change more than one time, and this will make things a whole lot easier for me. I allow that one change because I know how much of a stress it can get to be the one person to send THAT song in first. Then at least you’re safe with one good entry, right? BUT, something else might turn up at a later point before confirmation ends, so you will have a second chance at sending something you might love even more, or something more appropriate, inspired etc. So THINK thoroughly before you confirm an entry! :o - And before you send me a PM with your choice of artis/band, song and link - it would be really great if you uploaded the MP3 (HQ, please?) somewhere (Mediafire, Soundcloud etc.) and made it available for me to download. This way you have the opportunity to give people the best quality version of your entry and MP3 collection would work automatically. Actually, I sort of expect you all to do this. January 9, 201213 yr I've got a couple of ideas of what to send, not entirely sure how either would go down but neither are at all alike so it's a difficult decision to make, they'll definitely both appeal to completely different people. Nice presentation Freeze, my flag is already in the other thread! In fact I still wheel it out every now and then in my signature amongst other things!

Were my love originally manifested from I am not sure, but I have been loving green for about four years now and I consider that a part of who I am. Oh and yes, Greenfroze is the most eco friendly/environmental country in the world, gaining praise everywhere for our clever use of green technology and a green way of living to ensure a sustainable lifestyle on planet earth. Our politicians actively pursue green politics and has over many years successfully made possible the most environmental friendly approach to scientific research, infrastructure, education, economy, medicine, food production, industry and engineering. I will showcase some of our revolutionary engineering through a series of photographs by the city of Green Forest when I present the next stage of the competition. (Wow, that was the perfect description! I need to copy that to my national thread :D )
