Apparently not.

it's really upsetting: 'Love Comes' is one of the best pop songs of the year yet it flopped!!!!

all the 80's acts are flopping with their singles : A-Ha, Depeche Mode, the Pet Shop Boys, Prefab Sprout, Simple Minds and now Bananarama...

i guess Downloads Killed the 80's Stars!!! :o

From the same fertile 'Thamesbeat' scene that spawned the Mystery Jets and the Guillemots, U.K. singer-songwriter Jamie T was London's own answer to the Streets. His debut single, "Sheila," displayed the influence of reggae and scrambled lo-fi pop, and grazed the U.K. Top 20. His profile was further boosted by a successful remix of the Gorillaz track "Kids With Guns," and his second single, "If You've Got the Money," was an even bigger hit. PANIC PREVENTION, the debut album (named after a club night he had run), furthered both T's hit-making status and his artistic credibility when it was released in early 2007. - HMV

U2's Bono was one of the few real rock heroes of the 1980s, leading the Irish band to international recognition with a charged, political approach to music. The band's early efforts brought a stadium-size presence to post-punk, with Bono's expressive vocals and the Edge's distinct guitar lines interacting seamlessly with the rhythm section of bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen, Jr. In 1987, U2 broke through to superstardom with THE JOSHUA TREE, a grand culmination of their '80s sound. In the 1990s, however, the band very purposefully deflated that epic image, simultaneously adding ambient, dance, and electronica touches on 1991's ACHTUNG BABY. Mining that vein for much of the decade, U2 kicked off the 21st century with a triumphant return to form that was embraced by new and longtime fans alike. - HMV

U2 = Time to pack it in, or become the new Rolling Stones (i.e. a glorified Greatest Hits band, great live but no one is interested in tracks from their latest album), as Coldplay have surely now replaced them as the Biggest Rock Band in the World for coming up with christian rock (slightly anaemic) anthems.

Their latest album is a long way short of their creative peaks of The Joshua Tree & Achtung Baby.

At this rate the chart will finish well before 7pm.

Anyhoo is this Fearne's last week

Shakira at least top 30 then. Exciting! :D

Is she top 40 at all? :o
