Not sure if this has been done before, but have you had any tracks longer than 6 months in your personal charts, that has been in your chart forever.

 

There is one track in my chart that has been #1 in April, and its still currently in my top 40, its just lingering in the top 40 bracket for the past 2 months plus :lol: , its such a good track but I simply just can't get rid of it.

 

The track in question is Bat For Lashes - Daniel

My longest is only 24 weeks, I think. Weak. :\ with a Top 30 though, i get rid of songs easier.

Longest for me currently is The Killers 'Human' with 28 weeks inside my top 40. Second is Scissor Sisters 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin' with 26 weeks. However, Lady GaGa 'Bad Romance' is spending its 24th week in my chart at the moment and I'm still liking the song enough to keep the track top 40 so I suspect Lady GaGa will join the exclusive club.

 

No other song has lasted 26 weeks. Most big hits tend to stay around an average of 22 weeks (5 months).

N-Trance - Set You Free spent 23 weeks in my top 5 alone! Safe to say it was in my chart for 6 months at least, I think 39 weeks in total iirc!

 

Shakira's Hips Don't Lie got over 40 weeks in my top 50, most of these in the top 10 and is by far my longest runner ever :D
