Also Jive records sucks - they just don't bother with BSB anymore!!!!! it's a shame since 'Straight Through My Heart' is one of their most commercial singles ever along with 'I want it that way' and 'As long as you love me'....

The thing is, you either have Radio 1 support these days, with your video on constant rotation on music channels. Or you have no chance of having a hit. But having Radio 1 behind you these days seems more essential than ever.
October 6, 200916 yr A real shame, it's beacuse if your not a black 'talented' R&B/Hip hop aritists 'singing' over the same old backing track, the public just won't buy atm... Saying that, today I scanned through the previews of BSB album on Itunes, and THAT backing track appears on their title track, (think the dire 'I'll never leave you') go and have a listen, its almost EXACTLY the same...maybe if that gets a single release the morons might go crazy for it because it sounds familiar to their ears?? <_<

'Want' By Natalie Imbruglia is an amazing pop tune, and so is 'Back to the 80's' by Aqua... 'Straight through the heart' is generic but so are most of the songs on this week's chart...

October 6, 200916 yr YES for Daughtry! :D. Hope they can stay Top 20 at least. WOO for Chipmunk and his sales! Very much deserved imo. Great to see The Sats have some success with this. They deserve another chance to get it right with the next single. Even if this one isn't up to scratch. Hopefully this is a good sign for when their album is finally released.

October 6, 200916 yr I hope The Saturdays get #1 in the album chart next week, their 1st album was the first album I ever heard where I liked every song (since then, there's been Taylor Swift & the Twilight Soundtrack). Certainly be getting their new album. Why do people seem surprised at Chipmunk's sales? Do they think they seem high? I expected about that amount, maybe think they're a bit low. Hope "Forever is Over" clings on to #2. "Just can't get enough" was a charity single, so that fact it only got to #2 was actually disappointing. Even got beat by "Islands in the stream" :kink:
