October 13, 200916 yr I can't really see how Cheryl will be #1 next week, #2 at the most, I don't know why people think Cheryl is going to be #1, its not going to happen, just on a X Factor performance. Well its no2 on radio airplay and cheryl has a massive fanbase so its not just going on the xfactor performance.
October 13, 200916 yr Not really just X Mikey. 1. It's Cheryl 2. I think her airplay both TV/Radio is higher than Alexandras have been 3. Been #1 on pre-orders 4. Anything I've forgotten :kink: She's a lot hotter than Alex B... :naughty:
October 13, 200916 yr Gracious K (Migraine Skank) 50-4 Black Eyed Peas (Meet Me Halfway) 58+2 Calvin Harris (Flashback) 95-3 Kasabian (Underdog) 68-1 Medina (You And I) 74+2 Selena Gomez (Magic) 83-3 Coldplay (The Scientist) 44+1 Thanks!
October 13, 200916 yr In just 2 days, Alexandra has sold more than Chipmunk did for the entirety of last week. And I thought THOSE were good sales.. :o
October 13, 200916 yr Bleeding Love did 66K on it's Tuesday midweeks in October 2007, therefore this should easily beat the first week sales of 218,805 that Leona did back then.
October 13, 200916 yr Afraid not looking likely - it's 110-1 Ah :( , thanks anyway. Do you perhaps know where the ETD - the single and album are?
October 13, 200916 yr Author Could have some chart info on the following acts, thank you Madonna Celebration Paramore Single and Album Barbra Striesand album Thanks in advance
October 13, 200916 yr Bleeding Love did 66K on it's Tuesday midweeks in October 2007, therefore this should easily beat the first week sales of 218,805 that Leona did back then. Incorrect. The multiplication factor from Tuesday Mids -> Sunday Sales has changed due to the shift away from Physicals to Downloads. When Physicals were still a major factor in releases (such as in 2007, when BL was released), the multiplication factor from Tuesday Mids -> Sunday Sales was around 3-3.5. Bleeding Love's was 3.3. In the download era, this factor is now somewhere between 2.0 and 2.5, particularly for heavily front-loaded tracks. The shift has occurred due to the fact that in the physical era, physicals were only available from Monday onwards therefore only 1 day of physicals were factored into the Tuesday mids, whereas now 2 days of downloads are factored into the Tuesday mids, hence the lower multiplication factor to Sunday Sales. Where a particular record sits/sat in the spectrum of 3-3.5 (physicals) and 1.9-2.5 (downloads) depends on how frontloaded the sales are. I'd expect Alexandra to be somewhere in the middle range of this (probably a bit lower than middle) due to the X Factor performance and the anticipation/repressing of the single, therefore I think her multiplication factor will be around 2.2-2.4. That would give her sales of approx 195-215k.
October 13, 200916 yr WOWZA! Anyone wanna bet Alex won't be number 1 by Sunday? :kink: Bloody Nora! She's beat Leona's first mid-week set of sales hasn't she? But to be fair it is a far more stronger period now for sales than it was 2 or 3 years ago! Brilliant for her! :D. Great for Chip, Sats, Shakira & especially Taio in the albums! :D Really hoping Taio can scrape Top 10! :(
October 13, 200916 yr Well happy with that figure for Alex, not sure that she's going to make 219k or what Leona did but even so, exceptional figures! Robbie doing very nicely too. Bit disappointed with the first day sales of the Sats album to be honest though!

Bit disappointed with the first day sales of the Sats album to be honest though!Same about the Sats actually. I thought they'd have a bit of a bigger fanbase than what the album is suggesting. I just hope it doesn't fall out of the Top 5/Top 10 by Sunday!
October 13, 200916 yr I think the sats will do well approaching christmas though as their second single is amazing.
October 13, 200916 yr Is there any sign of the album for the young girl who was on Strictly on Saturday? Can't remember her name, but I think it was Amy Winehouse's niece.
October 13, 200916 yr Shakira top 3 album! :cheer: The albums will change postions i think theres very little in it and i think Madonna will still be no2 as mondays sales were all preorders etc & madge is No4 on normal monday sales. Watch this space i say could all change so easily.
