If Simon Cowell and everybody else is serious about this being a contest about 'singing' ... then perhaps someone ought to alert his research and production team to that fact. If however, Cowell instructs them to 'bring in a few oddballs for a laugh' then its only payback that the audience returns the joke and votes them in in the later stages. If he (or his producers - who all follow his instructions to the letter) wants assorted oddballs for their laugh factor ... then he should be prepared when it backfires on him.

Oh I would so love Jedward to win win! I may even throw in a phone vote myself this weekend. Has anyone noticed too how J&E are almost always towards the end of the show now? Maybe its because Cowell realises that if they were on at the beginning ... a lot of people would switch over when they'd done their bit. I know I would.

Lastly on this ... I'm a bit tired of Cowell appearing all 'surprised' each time the twins are kept in ... and his fake showing of 'horror' when Louis picked them - when I truly believe Simon Cowell was behind them being in the show from day one ... with long-term plans ahead.

I completely agree. i didn't until Rachel left but now I think Jedward should win just to throw it back in Simon's face. He'd obviously rather have the money from the more voted Lloyd would bring him than actually keep a genuine talent like Rachel. Sure she probably wouldn't win, but she should have gotten further.

OMG this is going to be so funny, so they are going to sing, dance and probably be holding slime guns at the same time with a giant marshmallow man in the studio -_- . Its going to be entertaining, at the same time very very funny.

And what is Lucie singing  don't tell me, she's got the flu this week, so she get the sympathy votes

The rest arent confirmed yet Mikey, apparently Lucie is doing

something from a Disney film

John and Edward choice  :o

Stacey will be amazing tomorrow B)

Danyl -_- it will backfire though as everyone will rightly say "meh, not as good as Ruth's version" as Ruth's Purple Rain was by far the best performance of 2008 X Factor so it will cost him votes

Sadly I fear Ruth's tremendous version will be brushed to the wayside by Simon. Dannii might mention it but she'll be booed or shouted down for it. :(

I really looking forward to Olly's performance.

It seems with that song choice Joe could be in danger.

Danyl's going to be AMAZING on Saturday then!

as usual ^_^

Ruth made me realize what an amazing song Purple Rain was (tbh I hadn't heard of it much before)

No doubt Danyl will make me hate it :(

Ugh. Danyl. Nothing will ever beat Ruth's version.

Looking forward to Stacey and actually Joe aswell, I think Circle Of Life could really suit him.

Lucie is singing

This Is My by Demi Lovato

Also, Stacey is apparently actually singing

Mad World

:(!

Oh, and Lloyd is doing

Footlose

LOL at Lloyd

Lucie's track, I don't know it at all, she should have gone with 'I Will Always Love You'

But I think she be pretty safe this week if she ends up bottom 2 with Lloyd, the judges will just choose Lloyd over her.

Joe, decent choice. Will suit him well I should think.

Jamie, I'm a bit surprised at his song choice, hmmm, could go either way.

Olly, Great choice!

Stacey, WOO! Finally, a bit of a change in tempo! :D She'd do very well though. Although I think she would have been good at 'There You'll Be'!

Danyl, LMFAO! - That is all!

John and Edward,! I actually CANNOT WAIT for it LOL.

Lucie, WTFH is that song?!

Stacey, Oh BOOO! I bloody hate that song, with a passion. She'll be good, don't get me wrong, but she'll be in danger if she does another ballad I think :(

Lloyd, LMFAO! Seriously?

This is like Jamie last week on Rock Week. She'll save that song until her bottom 2 performance. Plus I think Lucie will get saved over Lloyd.
No one else think Lloyd's guaranteed to stay this week? Just because he was bottom last week, and a lot of girls might vote for him this week, I think hes a gonner the week after though.

Somone was saying on the tv that Jedward might end up representing Ireland in the eurovision song contest.

I swear if they do I'm moving to England :puke2:

I agree. "The chosen one" must succeed at all costs. :(

Sadly because the midget formerly known as talented hates his songs appearing on sites like youtube I can't post Ruth's peerless performance on the site especially to compare with the doubtless over sung massacre with a long note crowbarred in by Danyl.

Oh the irony:

Look what is on youtube by the person whom I think should have been selected by Simon for the Over 25, and had he been selected I think he would have been easily the best singer in the contest:

Daniel Pearce -

Purple Rain
