Jamie was poor both on the show and in his showdown song-choice, but Lloyd really? We can blame the judges as much as we want but at the end of the day its US who the blame falls on as the public ultimately have decided in the past 2 weeks. The show is honestly a four horse race, I could see Stacey, Danyl, Olly or Joe winning, but i'm not sure which one it will be.

Jamie had a good run, and has had the exposure to gain a great platform, for what he wants to do.

 

I don’t think Simon is really all that disappointed as Olly and Danyl’s positions are strengthened; he was never going to get three acts from the same category any further because of voting demographics.

Just knew that would happen.

My overview of tonight's showwww;

 

- The Bohemian Rhapsody performance was horrific. TV Garbage, literally. :lol: Actually If I'm honest, if I threw it out in the rubbish, not even the bin men would want to pick it up.

 

- Shakira's performance wasn't as much as I expected, but she's still brilliant.

 

- The 'You'll Never Be Alone' performance was so uncomfortable to watch. :mellow: I found it quite sick how they used that child when most of us know this is just about Simon Cowell making money. Yeah obviously some proceeds will go towards the charity, but Syco are definitely going to benefit more.

 

- Glad Jamie went. His type of persona doesn't work on a reality tv programme. There is no such thing as a SINGLE Rock Singer. A male rock singer needs to front a band! He was never going to win it. And personally, I enjoyed LLoyd's performance. His voice isn't that bad and he's improved a lot though.

 

 

Pretty crap show tonight, pleased with the results. :lol: I HOPE we don't get another Mariah Week next week. It was awful last year.

Yes! Best result possible happened tonight. :wub: I can't recall a single enjoyable performance from Jamie, for me, since his first audition. I found his voice unpleasant and he was easily the least likeable contestant. He just gave off a vibe of someone who wouldn't be so nice off camera, with a bit of nasty side. He's the only one I'd have been glad for John & Edward to stay over.

 

Overall, that was such a poor show. Two crappy mimed performances, a performance from Shakira that sounded mumbled (and wasn't as good as it looked) and two of my least favourite in the bottom two. (a good result, but not great to watch) Actually, Lloyd was quite decent in his bottom two performance, really fought for his place.

 

Ok so Jamie wasn't great last night but NOOOOOOOO. F""" you public & Louis Walsh. He was one of my faves. With Rachel & Lucie (weren't hugely fond of her though) and now Jamie. All the best ones are going. This show continues to turn into a joke of judge descisions & the public :(.

 

Stacey to win now GO GIRL. Joe or Olly would be worthy enough winners too.

Yes, that's what I thought too. I could hardly hear her. I was spending the majority of the performance trying to recall her three UK #1s though.

 

Not sure on the theme, don't know if they've decided it yet. I'm watching Xtra Factor on +1 and they haven't said it yet, Simon joked that it would be Sting week when Holly asked but avoided answering.

In her defence (wow, I just said that :mellow: :lol: ), this time she's singing a decent song, and it's widely popular (the original is) in the UK, so I think she might bag herself a Top 10 hit.

& Shakira has only had two #1 hits. :lol: Hips Don't Lie & Beautiful Liar. However 'Whenever Wherever' did manage to sell over 500,000 copies, which is pretty impressive.

Not that bothered with Jamie going tbh, obviously he's a better singer than Lloyd but watching him perform was just dull.

I don't think Simon is that bothered losing Jamie reading between the lines in the press they never got on with each other, they were always arguing with the song choices.

 

I think the final 3 will be Joe, Olly and Stacey now. The public will soon get tired of the Twerps, they seem to be losing their momentum.

She took it to deadlock, but if she'd changed her vote Jamie would have gone anyway. Dannii Minogue is the bigger person and seems to know her stuff.

THIS. I was sat with friends watching this, and they were all of the view that Dannii was going to be spiteful and vote out Jamie. I was glad to see she didn't, and she genuinely was voting for the best singer - I think she came off well from it.
