Posted November 24, 200915 yr Has your favourite contestant in a series of X factor ever actually won the x factor? I've watched each series except the first one (not sure if it was popular in Ireland at the time) and I don't think the person I wanted to win has won....although in the third series I don't really remember having a big favourite but I think I liked Leona most at the time so you could count that as my favourite winning then. My Favourites: X Factor 1: Didn't Watch X Factor 2: Brenda Edwards (4th) X Factor 3: Leona Lewis (1st) X Factor 4: Same Difference (3rd) X Factor 5: Ruth Lorenzo (5th) X Factor 6: Stacey Soloman (???) Although I really like Joe in this series too so If he won I'd be happy too. :)
November 24, 200915 yr No because i didn't see the first one. Maria was my fave from 2005, Ben from 06, Hope from 07, Laura from 08. Jamie was one of my 3 faves this year along with Joe & Stacey so hope is still there :D

November 24, 200915 yr Series 1 No one really, I liked Tabby & Voices With Soul though. And wanted G4 to win over Steve. Series 2 Maria, Brenda and The Conway Sisters (Yes. The Conways. I should be ashamed I know). Shayne once Brenda was out. Series 3 Leona clearly. Quite liked Eton Road aswell though, and Dionne in the first few shows. Plus The Uncontiventionals. Series 4 Hope, Beverley & Alisha. Rhydain in the final. Series 5 Alexandra from day one. Plus Ruth & Rachel. Series 6 Rachel & Miss Frank, and really Lucie once she kicked herself into gear. Stacey & Joe from the ones left though

Series 3: Leona (1st) :D Series 4: Rhydian (2nd) Series 5: Laura (8th) or Diana (4th Series 6: Miss Frank (10th) or Joe (?) so only series 2 and 3 so far for me! November 24, 200915 yr Not to start with at all! Series One I was a massive Cassie fan, really hated Steve. Series Two I was a Brenda fan, even in the final I wanted the others to beat Shayne. Like him noe though! Series Three, for shame, I wanted Ray to win all along, even in the final against Leona. I must be one of few to have wanted her to lose. Now I accept I was wrong! It changes from series 4 though. With the exception of Kimberley who went out very unfairly first week of X Factor 4, Leon and Alexandra were my favourites of the top 12, Alexandra my favourite the moment I saw her sat in the audition room. And this year, I'm hoping my lucky streak continues, my favourite of the 12 has always been Joe!

November 24, 200915 yr I didn't watch the first 2, but from series 3... series 3 - leona lewis. (winner) series 4 - emily nakanda. (booted :unsure:) series 5 - diana vickers. (4th) series 6 - lucie jones. (8th) and don't really intend to watch again.

November 24, 200915 yr Leona's the only one I wanted to win really. I wasn't totally averse to Shayne and Alexandra winning, but would have preferred Brenda and Diana/Ruth. Leon and Steve winning was a travesty - should have been G4 and Rhydian.
November 24, 200915 yr I've only ever supported someone to win from start to finish (and voted for them every week) once in my life during an X Factor series that series was in 2006 and the artist was Leona Lewis :P

November 24, 200915 yr Pop Idol 1 - I think I did want Will, yeah, overall. Pop Idol 2 - Really wanted Roxanne til she left, then I guess I liked Michelle through default of not really liking anyone else... XF 1 - I LOVED Roberta, still not over the fact she went in week so quickly! After that I wanted Cassie, and didn't really like anyone else XF 2 - Maria (found my Sleepwalking single the other day!), and after that Brenda, who came 4th. XF 3 - Was at Uni and didn't have a TV, so didn't follow it. Probably right Leona won though :P After that the whole show became too much about the judges, and not enough about the contestants, so I never really payed attention again. But through casual viewings, I guess Rhydian should've won X4, Ruth should've won X5 and Stacey, Joe or Olly should win X6, although I'd totally buy a Lloyd album.
