December 22, 200916 yr Yayyyy! Buble #1 JLS out of Top 5 3 Words Top 5 Saturdays Top 30 Great songs in great positions ! This is going to be such a boring week new-entry wise.
December 22, 200916 yr Its actually 24 yes I'm dropping the mathematical bit for 1 week only :D Oops, I was confusing myself there - it was Jaylicia that was #24 last week lol.
December 22, 200916 yr Author Will we be getting the chart straight away at 4pm this week as we will have the EOY countdown on the chart show? Last year they started off the EOY countdown, and played out the official chart in the last 20 mins or so of the show, if I remember correctly, its going to be a very quick rundown, you blink and you miss the whole thing
December 22, 200916 yr Exactly, I bet OCC say the track belongs to 2010, with all the week ending $h!t W/E 2nd Jan 2010 is a 2009 week. I don't get why they don't just call the date the date that it is announced on, it would be much clearer then. 27th Dec 2009.
December 22, 200916 yr I'm glad Joe will get his #1 this week, and I'm really glad that Bublé is #1 on the albums! I love Susan, but I'm glad someone is finally knocking her off #1, and it's all that better because it's Bublé! Oh, and glad Cheryl is #4 (:cheer:) and Saturdays are in the Top 30!

December 22, 200916 yr I don't think i've missed it, but if i have then sorry Just wondering what position JLS' album is today? Many Thanks :)

December 22, 200916 yr I'm surprised. I didn't think Joe would carry on selling so many physicals. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sneak to 250k this week tbh - clearly people are buying his CD as "stocking-fillers", and there's still 3 days of Christmas shopping left.
December 22, 200916 yr Joe looks like he'll head into the top 5 best selling of the year then maybe. Good on him!
December 22, 200916 yr #6 Thank You :) I'm glad to see it's still holding up, despite people believing that after one week it would do a Mcfly, thank you :)
December 22, 200916 yr Joe will have the first #1 of 2010. I don't get why though - if W/E 3rd Jan counts for the previous year, why doesn't 2nd Jan? I can understand why some years can have 53 chart weeks (if there is a chart announced on 1st Jan) but not why any would ever have only 51.
December 22, 200916 yr It because there isn't exactly 52 weeks in a year there fore there can be either 52 or 53 in a year if you get what I mean. This weeks chart is for 2009 though so the first #1 of 2010 won't be announced until a week Sunday and that could be Joe.

I know - I said I don't understand how it could be 51 weeks. 52 and 53 are both totally possible.
December 22, 200916 yr I know - I said I don't understand how it could be 51 weeks. 52 and 53 are both totally possible. Which year has only had 51?
December 22, 200916 yr Which year has only had 51? Well, as far as I'm aware, we've just had the 51st week of '09. If next week is counted as 2010, 2009 is a 51-week year. That makes no sense.
December 22, 200916 yr Author I know - I said I don't understand how it could be 51 weeks. 52 and 53 are both totally possible. Its like the sales of this week belong to 2009, but the week ending puts Joe in 2010 and as the first #1 of 2010, its so confusing. I just looked on the calendar for next year week ending 2 Jan is Week 1, 9th Jan is Week 2 still makes no sense to me
December 22, 200916 yr How can Cheryl be at number 4 when on Digital Spy they say she's non-mover.
December 22, 200916 yr What really is the point of those 80,000 singles Joe has sold this week why did these same people not buy last week and get him to No 1.Unless the song has improved in quality it is a real waste he will still be remembered as the boy who missed out on the Christmas No 1. well I'm glad he missed out on the xmas number 1 cos I cant stand the x factor.
