Hi Mikey,

Yeah I used to be on Coolclarity and later another forum but I decided this was the place to be :D

Thanks for the updates :)

(big drop for George Michael )

I agree with last week being Xmas week though - Rage will be #1 on Xmas day due to the fact that the chart covering the Xmas day sales period has yet to be announced.

the xmas No.1 ia always whats there in the week Xmas Day falls, thus RATM in w/e 26th Dec 2009

etc etc unil the next complete compiled chart w/e 2nd Jan 2010, so Joe IS the first No.1 of 2010, unless someone buggers it all up.

and the week 52 thing really kicks in when a year that w/e 31st Dec happens, and yes thats the last chart of the year, and of course the extra week.

am i the only one thinking it was a bit stupid of cheryl cole releasing 3 words this week, as we have found out it is #7 without the cd, but the cd sales are going to be 0 on xmas day and i would think barely nothing on boxing day.

it could miss the top 5 because of this (not that it deserves top 5 anyway).

On Sunday is it the Top 40 of 2009 Radio 1 will be playing (like last year) or is it just the normal weekly chart? :)

Cheryl, whose song, a collaboration with WILL.I.AM of BLACK EYED PEAS, sold just 8,808 copies on Monday.

Your guess is as good as mine.

Presumably if they *do* play the T40 of 2009, that'll confirm that this is the last week in which sales count towards it.

Ah, but in the past they've done an 'up till now' Top40 of the year.....then Music Week publish the one which includes sales up to the end of the year!

Is that supposed to be dreadful?

3 Words (the album) has sold 500K+ so far and is back in the top 10 this week, so...

also that'll be just physicals then.

I think he was just telling everybody...

It's from The Sun, who said on Monday she was tipped for #1, god knows by who...

* Article claiming '3 Words' would be #1:

Both are wrong

Thats why, their covering themselves because they've made themselves look total idiots - and they still are cause Cheryl should go top 5 and is so far ahead of Journey
