What a stupid question??! the point that Joe X-factor has sold 80,000 is because people are buying the song on their own terms, because they like the song and think "oh i'll buy it"

THIS IS THE TRUE REFLECTION OF THE CHARTS!

Now with RATM's drop in appeal this week this just shows who the 'controled, mindless' members of the public are! The people who started that whole campaign on facebook have even impressed Simon Cowell with their manipulation...so tbh I don't know whos worse!

X-Factor, RATM (and it's fans <_< ) aside, THEM facebook people have become the thing they hated the most and are too dumb to see THEY have ruined the Christmas No.1 with their 'comunist campaign'

We've made this the best Xmas ever, a lot of people will agree, and a lot of people will agree with you, so will you please just shut it and accept our differences and also accept the truth? It happened, get over it, you're the only one STILL moaning <_<

Oooh Cheryl now up to #4 :D

I have to confess that anything else than top 3 would be a sacrilege but I'm still very happy with a top 4, especially when the album is still doing so well ^_^

Thank you BrayFish but it's explained only And how is it possible that 2nd 3 Words entry at 43 +2 if the 2nd 3 Words is out on itunes TOP 150 but did not explain the first part of my post.

Ryan works from a different source, so he may well have sufficient sales info to give a picture of what #7 and #45 would be added together

I just realised I probably will never hear ESOM Pt. II unless I actively go and listen to it, as there's no chart show this week - it's the EOY chart :D

Alicia still at 17! She should finish the week no lower than top 25 and barely decrease in sales :D
WOOO! Come on Michael Buble! He deserves #1! He already booted susan off #1 in Ireland and looks like he is going to do it here in the UK too! YES! He's a great artist and havent bought his album yet so will be buying it this week! :D
Ugh can't believe Joe is at number one. At least the shops will be closed some days this week so his physicals don't reach a high amount the fact he is so high in the year end chart is frankly embarassing. Worst number one of the year by a mile.

Yeah buying a song because it won a TV show is a TRUE REFLECTION, yeah that makes sense

Anyway Rage are still winning on downloads anyway.

I wonder how may of the 40,000 people that downloaded Killing in the Name did so because they liked it. Surely it must be reaching some listeners for the first time and they are impressed enough to download it.

And there isn't any new entries, well if you count tracks that are climbing from top 75 upwards, I think Wham will slip out, its virtually at the foot of the chart above 2 Leona Lewis tracks

Tracks that have slipped out from last week's top 40 are Miley Cyrus [The Climb] which might come back in later in the week, others are Susan Boyle, 50 Cent and PSB

If Take That's (studio) The Circus is at 34 then surely they'll pass the two million mark this week.

Norma

AAHHH! Amazing for Alicia's album holding up!

Also brilliant to see ESoM(PII) enter and for DMA to climb  AAAAHHHH! Going so well for her :D

Wow at Buble outselling SuBo! I thought she'd be safe for at least another 2 weeks! :o

Also its going to be hard to see what happens after Wednesday, Rage are still selling on downloads, Joe really needs a big lead before Thursday physically wise he will lose a lot of sales depends what time shops close on a Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, so it could reverse the situation completely. It ain't over until the fat lady sings.
BEAT BUBLE BOYLE

BOYLES BUBLE BURST

Hello stranger :o

Hello :P

I'm at home and have had limited net access :drama: but should be on a wee bit more now!

Can't say I'm gutted to have missed last week though!

To address the point about who will be the first number 1 of 2010. Surely that's simply whoever is number 1 in the first chart of 2010. I can't remember any instance where a number 1 from Dec has been deemed a number 1 from the following year unless it managed another week at the the top - nevermind the weekending rubbish.

Exactly, I bet OCC say the track belongs to 2010, with all the week ending $h!t

Will we be getting the chart straight away at 4pm this week as we will have the EOY countdown on the chart show?
