When did Sean get FIT? I could eat him for dinner!

I'll listen to the songs tomorrow. They deserve some success actually- I thought We R One was a brilliant pop song.

OH DEAR. Hated them with a passion on X-Factor but had to admit that We Are One was pretty darn catchy. Suprised they got dropped after 180k of albums though, I suppose that would have been enough on any other label other than Syco..

Suprising new image. The girl (Sarah?) looks a bit poundland Pixie Lott whilst Sean surely still cant claim to be straight after that second pic...

ROFLMFAO!!! So true! :o

The New Album!....

The New Album...

Hey all! Hope you are enjoying what the beginning of 2010 has to offer!

We have been working hard behind the scenes to get the 2nd album sounding awesome and thought we would let you know what we have been getting up to and some of the people that we have been working with!

We have been in the studio recording with Topham & Twigg who have penned and produced tracks for loads of our favourite pop bands like Westlife, Steps and Backstreet Boys. You can hear a snippet of one of the tracks by them on our music page (Souled Out). These days are always soo funny as the guys are hilarious! We have many hours of random jokes and playing 'for a million!'. We do get some work done too though! Hehe!

We have also been working with the amazing Pete Hammond who has worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Alphabeat and Bananarama, This has been so exciting for us as he is a pop legend and has created a really great sound that we think you will all love! We are looking forward to you being able to hear them very soon!

Also we have been doing a lot of songwriting with various people! We have really enjoyed this and have come up with some cool tunes! We have written songs with some amazing songwriters including Georgie Dennis, Mark Read (I (Sarah) used to love him in the band A1 so spent the whole of the morning a little starstruck! Lol!), Marc Rapson and Nathan Thomas (Bodyrox) and Aerostorm (Dannii Minogue)! We love to be creative and the songwriting days always end up very loooong as we like to make sure that everything is perfect and we always come up with better ideas when we are about to leave! Lol! We hope that you like these ones as much as you liked 'If U Can't Dance'!

Also, as a lot of you liked the Swedish sounding tracks from our first album we have been working with some lovely Scandinavian writers too! We have recorded tracks by Tony Nilsson (who works with all the biggest pop names in Sweden like Darin, Alcazar, Ola, Elin Lanto & Velvet) and Hanne Sørvaag (who wrote Better Love Me & All The Roads Lead To Heaven from the 'Pop!' album and has also worked with Katharine McPhee) and we think you will really like them!

So we have been working very very hard and we hope that it all pays off and you love the album!

We will be posting some new confirmed gig dates up very shortly so keep checking back and we look forward to seeing all of you at some point in the coming months!

Much love

Sarah and Sean xxx

I dont mind same difference and their debut album sold reasonably well but i cant see them having much success with this album.

Sounds like we got another cheesy album on the way

No doubt I'll probably buy it :kink:

How much did their single and album sell?

I think the album sold either just more, or just less than 200,000 copies in the UK.

Not sure about We R One...but i doubt it shifted more than 100,000 judging on it's chart run. :(

And their with an independant label now i think...

PopLife...it's a new label...

...that's already screwed up the release of what could have been Spring's biggest hit My Lonely Valentine by Dandy Andy. Not a good sign.

Oh, I thought I'd already commented on this...

I loved them on XFactor, and I loved "We R One".

"Souled Out" sounds good from the clip, and according to their website, they have single promotion on July 17th

Also, if they're working with Tony Nilsson (Darin, Alcazar, Ola, Elin Lanto & Velvet) and Hanne Sørvaag (is she the one who wrote "My Heart Is Yours" for Norway this year), we might just have the UK's Eurovision entrant for 2011 :kink:

Same Difference really should be doing Eurovision for us - its obvious they'd love the the single this year and would probably perform it without being embarrassed which would to their charm. Oh well

Anyway, I love Souled Out - I wonder if that'll be the 2nd single

I can't believe they are doing a 2nd album. I doubt it will do well when the first album didnt really set the charts on fire.

Well their now on an independent label called Poplife, so I doubt the expectations are as great. Plus they sold more of their first album, then the last 2 Sugababes albums put together - and if they keep getting chances

Just listened to the clip - OMFG Scandipop tastic  Can't wait for the full version. Also I love the new logo and pics!

Clip of Karma Karma and Same Difference Album Sampler!

Edited by Aaron.

Oooooh this could hopefully help them crack the Swedish market, where the music is more likely to be a success
Sounds amazing! Looking forward to hearing it in full :D

Me too :D I like Same Difference, but :w00t: for new Alcazar music
