I think you have to be careful with the constant theat of warnings and complaning that people are doing this, otherwise people will be scared to post anything. I for one have stopped posting as much and this isnt to do with 'artist bashing', more a case of one of the mods complaining about it all the time. It will get to the stage where people dont wanna post anymore.

Instead, I'm having to wade through endless posts of people whinging because they don't like a couple of songs (Tinie & Bieber), to the point that Tacticz felt the need to post his "death to music" rant twice.

 

If anyone dared to carry on about Rihanna or Lady GaGa in the same manner, they'd be attacked.

 

It is off putting to visitors to have to read.

I do agree with what you're saying in some ways, but all the information is on the first page... so effectively you choose to read any so called "bashing". :P

I don't get the link between both sentences. Midweeks info are posted and updated in the first posts of the midweeks thread. So you really don't have to go through "endless posts of people whinging" to get the info. -_-

What if you want to discuss the mid-weeks with other people? Yet you just come to see people constantly whining. I've just been at school all day, but I come here, and still think I'm amongst hundreds of moody teenage girls...

 

Compared to what we had in 2009, the charts aren't very good at the moment, but they're not that bad in my opinion!

What I meant is that THIS year so far (especially this month's) music has been awful. Maybe you have a different opinion, that's up to you. Sorry if apparently ''ranting''. On my view, I was expressing how 75% of the users feel about the taste of music at the moment. ;)

'Rocket' does deserve more but it's been largely ignored by radio, and coupled with a delayed video release this was always going to happen. I don't know why Radio 1 and the like have suddenly turned on them.

Extremly dissapointing for Lemar in the albums aswell, considering he got a top 15 hit out of it.

 

Britney's singles collection only went top 40 too - she's nth the popstar that Lemar is.

the music has been awful in your opinion but not everyone likes glee, rihanna and lady gaga (thankfully).if you had your way they would alaways be a good looking girl at no1!! why can't you just accept other people like other types of music!!

So close in the albums...I'd prefer Boyzone to get #1

 

Also pretty close in the singles. Out of the current top 3, I'd prefer Justin to get #1 :P And not only is the amazing Gabriella in the top 10, but #8? Must be doing good with physicals then, 'cause I don't think it was in the iTunes top 10 on Sunday or Monday :unsure:

 

"The Family Jewels" is at #30...I was going to buy it next Tuesday, but I think I may buy it tomorrow instead. In the words of Tesco, every little helps :)

It was 3.99 on Amazon - 5 remixes not a 2 track

Fantastic for Gabriella. Who'd have thought this time last week she'd be top 10!

 

Gabriella however is the only decent thing in this wretched of a chart. Justin Bieber being top 3 is disgusting, let alone the fact he's 7k off #1. Not of course that Tiny Tempah is much of an improvement. The lesser of three evils is Rude Boy really, and even thats the weakest Rihanna single since god knows when.

I agree totally. What an awful chart this week. I wish Gabriella was no1. Its one of only a few decent songs in the top10 apart from Alicia Keys and Timberland ft Katy Perry.
