I think the suga's will get around 5-8, i wont buy my copy until the end of the weekend any way,

and most of the sugababes fans are teenagers, so they will get it on the weekend aswell (:

Like most people, I hope Gaga climbs to the top but I don't think she will *this week* :(

I really hope rihanna charts higher than gaga this week, its off to a good start by the looks of it.

 

And oh dear for the sugababes. Cant say i am surprised though. I think it'll go top 15 this week and then really drop next week.

I'm amazed she has managed to get her 3rd single in the top ten atall without the xfactor tbh. I thought the whole campaign would fall flat on its face in January.

Well considering she's been in the papers for a few wks now, I am not amazed she went Top 10 anyway.

I just knew Sugababes's album would bomb they are lucky its #11 and that's probably frontloaded, so it probably trail off later in the week. After releasing 3 singles from it, Get Sexy was awful, WMK is not to their usual standard, there is a track on it with a "mess" in its title, and it lives up to its name, its definitely a mess.

 

As for the singles, Lady GaGa could catch up later in the week, sales will probably end up pretty close in the end.

Im sure Telephone will get number 2 by sunday, but I think it will just miss out this week, next week Tinie would've trailed more, so that would be its week

 

I see in a very boring week, older releases simply climb

 

and for Sugababes- oh dear! im sorry, I know they have a lot of fans on here, but Its hard to take them seriously as a musical act when its more like a soap opera :lol:

:lol: Serves Island right. What kind of record label send a full album promo out 2months before it's release, then proceeds to push it back a week.

 

They've changed the date far too many times.

 

I think it's deserved tbh

 

Tends to prove neither "Get sexy", "About a girl" or "Wear my kiss" have been memorable hits. Missing the top10 on the back of three singles campain is going to cost A LOT to their label :o 3 videos, promotion, album production, ... don't know where they will get their money back...

We're dealing with Crown Music Management here, they wouldn't know what promo was if it came up and danced naked in front of them with a bright flashing neon sign above its head sayin 'i'm promo'

Anyway, go Mumford & Sons, downloaded their album yesterday and it's brilliant :wub: Hope it sticks Top 10!

 

Come on someone, PLEASE knock Tinie off! Just the very first set of mids was more than enough for him to be number 1 :puke:! Great to see Glee albums do so, so well! (And to think a couple of people were thinking 'Glee' wasn't that big! HAHA)

 

Shame for Sugas, I really hope they manage to scrape Top 10 at the very least :( It's such a good and grower of an album.

Definitely time to stick a fork in Sugababes.

TBH when Keisha left, I think the 'babes should have went away with Jade and made a whole different album and possibly changed thier name and come back as "fresh"

I agree. And let's not forget their recent material is a serious step down. It's sad to see the band who gave us some of the best pop songs of the 00s releasing awful, generic $h!t like Get Sexy and Wear My Kiss. :( Haven't listened to the album though and I don't particularly want to either.

 

Not much else of interest this week. Though I wish Mumford & Sons would go higher. It must be getting pushed down by multiple versions of other songs on iTunes, one presumes, or it's doing completely crap on other download sites. Annoying. At least the album is top 10 for yet another week.
