March 21, 201015 yr Good afternoon everyone, btw :D Shall I keep the hotshot thing? Only if Los Angeloser by Meat Loaf is next week's selection :P
March 21, 201015 yr 2009 01. (4) Lady Gaga - Poker Face 02. (2) Flo Rida - Right Round 04. (3) The Saturdays - Just Can't Get Enough 05. (5) Taylor Swift - Love Story 06. (7) Ti - Dead And Gone 07. (6) Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You  08. (9) Akon - Beautiful 09. (20) Beyonce - Halo 10. (8) Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody So it was a year ago this week GaGa shockingly topped the charts! Could she do exactly the same THIS YEAR?! :o What a feat, It'd be for her! Not only would she have the first "new" (that wasn't a continuation from the year before) number 1 of both 2009 & 2010, but also being the first act to knock that years X-Factor Winner off the number 1 each year, and now, almost causing a shock after not being number 1 in the mids for the week she does get to number 1! 2010 seems to be mirroring her 2009 success, just to a lesser extent  (Does any of this make sense? HAHA) 2005 01. (-) Tony Christie Ft Peter Kay - (Is This The Way To) Amarillo 02. (1) McFly - All About You/You've Got A Friend 04. (-) Gwen Stefani ft. Eve - Rich Girl 05. (3) Sunset Strippers - Falling Stars 07. (5) Nelly featuring Tim McGraw - Over and Over 08. (-) Basement Jaxx - Oh My Gosh Sunset Strippers! One of my anthems of 2005! Farrr preferred it to that dire Cabin Crew version! 2000 02. (-) Blink 182 - All The Small Things 04. (-) ATB - Killer 07. (3) All Saints - Pure Shores 08. (5) Lene Marlin - Sitting Down Here 10. (6) The Vengaboys - Shalala Lala blink-182 were beaten to number 1 by THAT?!
March 21, 201015 yr Author Only if Los Angeloser by Meat Loaf is next week's selection :P I despise Meat Loaf! :o
March 21, 201015 yr Bit late but Geri Halliwell was hilarious. 'Mi Chico Latino' in particular was rather bizzarre LOL. God love her.
March 21, 201015 yr of course TP won't do a million but still 500k it's not bad for 7th single from 2 million seller album.

March 21, 201015 yr I loved Mi Chico Latino too, definitely her best. She definitely ruled the 1999/2000 charts, but I guess 2000 was Mel C's year.
March 21, 201015 yr  Stressy Rob! Sorry. :( It doesn't help when you've got one of your best friends bragging to you to ... ANYWAY. Who for next weeks hotshot? DISCUSS PLZ. Edited March 21, 201015 yr by Let's Make A Rob
March 21, 201015 yr I despise Meat Loaf! :o Have you seen the video? It's perhaps the most cringeworthy music moment of the year. Meat Loaf has his moments, you can't deny that Bat out of Hell is a rock classic.
March 21, 201015 yr Sunset Strippers! One of my anthems of 2005! Farrr preferred it to that dire Cabin Crew version! It was the Sunset Strippers version I despised :puke: awful, on par with Call On Me as dance music I just can't tolerate because of the in and out synths which play havoc with my ears :drama: Cabin Crew's version didn't have those so I loved it
