March 26, 201016 yr I prefer American music in general and Im glad its owning the charts Totally agree, if America is putting out the best songs then why shouldn't they dominate the charts? I mean, I'm not going to not buy a single just because it's American, that's ridiculous. I think the main problem is that British acts aren't putting out music which can compete with American and other international artists.

March 26, 201016 yr If you don't get to hear music because the main radio stations don't support them, then how can you make comparisons. IMO you hear what they want you to hear when they want you to hear it . You are being spoonfed what the playlist panels give you. The radio station that gets behind new music (6 Music)is about to be dropped by the BBC because they want to concentrate on quality!!!!!I'm sure there's loads of good British music out there - you just don't hear it. March 26, 201016 yr Cheryl needs to drop to #6!!!! haha - she needs to drop off the planet really ;-) ON a serious note - I think we need to accept now that the singles chart is full of $h!te - whether it be British or American
March 26, 201016 yr Unless the weekend effect hurts Inna badly, Cheryl will almost certainly be #6 come sunday. Really surprised she's still #5 now
March 26, 201016 yr Oooh dear at Sugababes. Even Heavy Rotation held up better than this (although it was released in a stronger sales period and a year when album sales weren't this bad). I'm just not finding the chart interesting at all this year. I really like Owl City at no.1 but nothing else really. Gaga is ok but when you compare it to most of her other stuff its a bit average really.
March 26, 201016 yr Glad David Guetta has made the top 40 without video play or radio airplay. It's a great track, well much better than One Love anyway. :puke2:
March 26, 201016 yr Glad David Guetta has made the top 40 without video play or radio airplay. It's a great track, well much better than One Love anyway. :puke2: I've seen the video for Memories on music channels quite a bit recently.. but yeh I really like the song so glad its made the top 40
March 26, 201016 yr Disappointed at Gabriella Cilmi isn't doing better on the abum charts, i like the 70's disco sound of her album
March 26, 201016 yr ^ hardly good is it if they are just holding on! I know lol...I can imagine in next week somewhere in top 70 if not out of top 75.
March 26, 201016 yr The Cave up another one! :D I hope Young Money stay top 10 on Sunday despite dropping out of the iTunes top ten (>_<) I wonder if Sarah Phillips will go top 40? Good to see Memories make it
