Yeah but still

Gala - Let A Boy Cry

Red 5 - I Love You Stop

Flip & Fill - Discoland

Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes

Gala :(

Let A Boy Cry was such a choon.

Definitely agree with Untouchable, Battlefield and Hurt.
There have been far too many, and I agree with most of the ones in this thread (York/Angelic :wub:). But not being a fan of either band usually, it's an absolute TRAVESTY that these two excellent singles stalled at #11 here;

Green Day - Time Of Your Life (Good Riddance)

Blur - Coffee and TV

my other two big 'no you didn't just stall at #11 moments :drama:' are;

Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes

Dannii Minogue - Perfection

but like somebody else, a lot of my favourites have stalled at #12

Oh yes, Coffee And TV. Definitely should have been a top 10 hit. Entered and peaked at #11 on the same day Secret Smile by Semisonic (another excellent song that should have been a top 10 hit) entered and peaked at #13.

According to both the manager of Blur and the owner of Semisonic's record label both records may have been top 10 that week if it hadn't been for chart compilation problems...

Word Up by Melanie G entered and peaked at #14 in the same chart but that definitely shouldn't have been a top 10 hit

Black Kids- Im not gonna teach your boyfriend how to dance with you :( such a tune!

Miley cyrus probably deserves some credit, three number 11s and not one top 10 hit!, mind you, songs werent great

Also if Thriller had peaked one place lower, it wouldve missed the top 10 and Coldplays the scientist too :o

also Green Day Time of Your Life is a criminal injustice looking at some of the crap thats made the top 10

Ashlee Simpson - both 'Boyfriend' and 'La La' :(. I think the former might've peaked at #12/#13 but it deserved to be much bigger! :(

The first two that spring to mind have already been mentioned. Battlefield & Hurt.

I never cared too much about Untouchable tbh, quite a weak single by GA's standards.

Didnt Brandy - Afrodisiac peak at #11?

Oh yes, Coffee And TV. Definitely should have been a top 10 hit. Entered and peaked at #11 on the same day Secret Smile by Semisonic (another excellent song that should have been a top 10 hit) entered and peaked at #13.

I actually recall reading that at the time! shame for both bands with such classic songs!

Girls Aloud - Untouchable :)

Agree (although I would ) with Good Riddance, but it at least bought them some time and meant the next album (Warning, from which the #18 "Minority" should have been far bigger) didn't bomb. So arguably American Idiot might not have happened without GR, certainly such a change in direction would have more of a surprise.

Thought that "Battlefield" was very unlucky last year, can't think of any others off the top of my head  although two of my favourite songs from last year ("Rabbit Heart" and "Crying Lightning") stalled at #12 and the orgasmic "In For The Kill" spent a fortnight at #11 before climbing :o

The fact that it deserved a place higher than it got is for another thread, tbh.

Jordin Sparks - Battlefield

Girls Aloud - Untouchable

Christina Aguilera - Hurt

Orson - Bright Idea

BEP - Let's Get It Started

BEP - Rock That Body

Just Jack - The Day I Died

Pet Shop Boys - Opportunities (Let's Make Lots of Money)

Jason Mraz - I'm Yours

Manic Street Preachers - The Everlasting

Janet - Someone to Call My Lover

Beastie Boys - (You Gotta) Fight for Your Right to Party

Blur - Coffee & TV which is already listed here

Jordin Sparks - Battlefield. The fact it peaked at #11 on three seperate occasions was so frustrating.

Miley Cyrus - The Climb and Party in the USA, especially as the latter had been in the top ten in the midweeks before Ke$ha zoomed in with TiK ToK.

#11: Miley Cyrus - The Climb/Party In The USA

#13: Jonas Brothers - S.O.S.

Jordin Sparks - S.O.S. (let the music play)

#17: Cobra Starship - Good Girls Go Bad (feat. Leighton Meester)

The Veronicas - 4ever

#22: Aly & AJ - Potential Breakup Song

Christina Aguilera's Hurt came to mind as soon as i saw this thread. :(

Pink's Please Don't Leave Me, Justin Timberlake's Lovestoned(?) and sort of GA's Untouchable.

Oh yeah and the ultimate one - Lonestar's Amazed.

The first song I thought as I read the title was Jordin Sparks Battlefield which should have been number IMO.

P!nk - God is a DJ

Black Eyed Peas - let's Get Retarded/It Started

Will Young - Who Am I?

Black Eyed Peas - Rock That Body (could still get top 10 sometime though...)

Girls Alous - Untouchable

That's all I can think of atm
