12 years an Aphrodite still sounds very fresh.

It deserved to have more big hits to its credentials but it provided Kylie with to date her last platinum selling album.

Feels like someone has found the keys to the Kylie vaults with all these leaks atm! Love hearing them all though and sounds and songs that were considered good enough to demo for potential inclusion.

Such easy money for them although the fact they are having to knock out the Kylie Christmas vinyl for £7 has probably put them off :kink:

 

I have the original vinyl but can’t/won’t play it as it’s too ‘rare’ now and am patiently waiting for a re-press!

If say it will happen and maybe soon woukd be a good time to do it, kylie Christmas ms not have done aswell as they though but look at the huge success of impossible princess.

Would love an Aphrodite reissue one day with unreleased material. Still one of her strongest Parlophone era albums!

I don’t care about the album much but ATL and GOMW are both Kylie classics. And who can forget heartstrings ?!

The reissue has to include "Change Your Mind"!

It was pointed out recently that Body Language had been reissued on CD in a card gatefold sleeve, and now there’s a CD reissue like that for Aphrodite too.

 

Interesting for Parlophone to be bothering with new CD versions but… why not an Aphrodite vinyl reissue too? :thinking:

Id love Aphrodite to get the full vinyl treatment, still an album i enjoy loads.

Another anniversary - 13 years since the final single from Aphrodite was released.

 

It finished off the album campaign - it had a mad amount of remixes and a CD release in Australia.

 

It charted highest in Austria (#38) and was a #93 smash in the UK.

 

 

 

I almost don't think of 'Put Your Hands Up' as a single, felt like it barely happened and was a complete afterthought.

I feel the same and I feel the same about the one.
