Plan B climbed a place in both charts :D

I'd guess the Stones and Faithless have too much of a lead over him for him to get back in the top 2 for Sunday, but at least She Said looks safe for the top 10 ^_^

Holy $h!t at Muse - could it go top 3 this week? :o I hope it can because I have a feeling this week is its only chance of outpeaking Supermassive Black Hole and giving Muse a long overdue first top 3 hit.

...unless it has the potential to be a shock #1 when Eclipse premieres?

11 new entries to the top 40 now, from B.o.B, Leeds, Muse, The Pretty Reckless, The Squad, Ellie Goulding, Sean Kingston, Glee Cast, Katie Melua, Ke$ha and Christopher Wilde (Hero I presume). Wilde won't hold it, I think Nas will take his place as an 11th newie on Sunday. ^_^

Ouch @ DiVi's single going down another 4 since yesterday :drama: Looks like it may manage just 5 weeks top 40, which is absolutely terrible, lowest weeks in the top 40 for a #1 since Rage Against The Machine and that was a Facebook campaign

In fact, RATM have 6 if you count the 3 from its original run, so Once if it drops out next week will have the lowest # of weeks in the top 40 for a #1 since (Barry) Islands In The Stream

For all the excitement here about Alex being #3, the single is not selling the album well is it?

Anyway come on Muse!

I think Diana is going to have the lowest sales for a #1 record this year, Pixie couldn't even manage a top 40 year to date for 2009. Diana won't make the top 40 YTD at the end of the year at this rate, I think that's given.

Oh blinking hell I just heard the Muse single for the first time, its awesome, wow amazing  It could easily pass as a Queen track.

It's going to be amazing hearing THAT in Eclipse. I hope they play it in the film and not at the end like they did with Decode...

At least Pixie's two #1's got 9 and 8 weeks in the top 40 respectively, not what could well be 5 for Diana :drama:

A real shame, musically it's one of my favourite #1's of the year.

I can only hope she doesnt turn into a one hit wonder :(

I suppose they could release her next single around late autumn and then she could get a an X Factor performance slot, although I cant see they'd delay it that long :(

The next single (The Boy Who Murdered Love) is released in July, I'm very confident she won't be a one hit wonder given it's such a wise choice. I guess they could put the third single out in October/November if she's going for the X-Factor performance slot?

10 new entries :o Let's party like it's 1999 :funky:

I think the way Diana's album has fallen is more a reason for concern.

To be fair, at least 90% of the albums released this year have debuted highly and plummeted (Owl City and that was on the back of the 2nd biggest selling song of the year, Ke$ha and that was with the forever-in-the-top-ten hit, Ellie Goulding and that was with the Critics Choice award and a #4 single, Marina and that was with tons of hype everywhere and a #12 hit :P, Jason Derulo and that was with a #3 and #1 hit etc) so I don't see why Diana would be the exception. Clearly all her fans bought the album and single in the first week, then left it to the casual buyers to purchase them in the weeks after but unfortunately aside from Diana's XF fanbase, she doesn't have much fans. I'm sure the 2nd single will either boost the album back into the top 40 or else will end Diana's mainstream career.

Not sure whether that was meant as a backhanded compliment or not :P Anyway sorry to be pedantic but I said selling well. iTunes doesn't count for much with albums so who knows how it's doing in the mids?

I'm shocked Alexandra and Pitbull are still #3! I think they should easily stay ahead of Roll Deep, and I don't think that Neutron Collision song will have time to overtake it now. I suppose only time will tell. I could expect that the sales gaps between the songs are quite close.

I will be amazed if that doesn't happen

Amazing. I was dreading to see Alex had fallen to 7 or something! Still Top 3?! :w00t:

Alicia. Could I have info on The Platinum Collection please? :) I'm also, very pleasently surprised to see 'Jessie's Girl' go Top 40 at least! :o I would have thought it was 'One'
