Cascada have managed to remain popular for 3 or 4 years. Although maybe they won't have another hit judging by Pyromania's flop - depends if radio decide to ever support them again...

Yup 3 years of success is pretty good. But surely the honeymoon phase is over with a brand new single flopping? At least for now.

Hello all!

Fingers crossed that we get most of the charts played today as Reggie isnt there! :cheer:

Im not actually sure whos going to be number 1 today

I don't understand how this has flopped -_- however I suppose there are better single choices on the album. hello 'your biggest mistake'.

Ouch guns and horses was such a flop.

Hope glee's bad romance held on in top 40, dont think it has though.

Chart history (Year peak title):

I thought ITWYMMF outsold Stomp, even though the album was already out at this point, so I definitely think it would have gone to #1 had it been released first :o Stomp disappeared pretty quickly and only sold 50k on its week of release which was dire for a #1 in 2000. It was alright but compared to some of their classics that stalled at #2, it's a shame that it was *that* that was one of their two #1's.

I really like Stomp :P One of their weakest like you said, but still good.

It hasn't, it was #42 on the 'almost Saturday chart' and I doubt it'll have climbed since.

There'll still be a lot of waffle but at least it won't be quite so inane. Some of it might even be about the chart.

The World Cup!

Two weeks of the English press going on about how they're going to win it, followed by 2 weeks going on about how unlucky they were to go out! :)

I'd rather hear Waka Waka over 3 Lions... or Carnival De Paris :D

Carnaval De Paris = best football song ever!

The Lightning Seeds are responsible for some of the greatest power-pop songs of the 80s/90s (Sugar Coated Iceberg, Pure, Life of Riley, Marvellous), yet they will be better known for a tired anthem that was good for 3 weeks in 96.
Does anyone else think '3 Lions 2010' sounds like a Christmas song?

YES, Jingle bells and a high pitched boy singing! Football songs are clearly not as popular as they were in 1998 (thank god)
