That Americano song is disgusting. I don't see the hype about it at all. JLS win that clash for me and I never thought that would happen :heehee:

In these times, only (new) acts from the UK, US, Canada and sometimes Sweden seem to be able to string together more than 1 or 2 hits - YBC not being from any of these 4 countries sort of makes it impossible for them to follow up WNSA successfully. It doesn't help that WNSA is a very gimmicky song. (I'm not saying it's bad - I love WNSA - but it's an unusual, gimmicky formula for a song that wouldn't work twice)

Plus they're handled by AATW here who are great at promoting one off/first singles, but absolutely hopeless in promoting/building hype around any further releases. :(

Unless their name is Cascada :P
I really thing My First Kiss has a good chance at going Top 10, hated all their other songs but like this one.Lets hope some change happens between 21-30 this weekend those songs just keep changing places it is getting boring. Its a shame the Scissor Sisters did not go Top 10.

MFK should do it with ease, I thought it had a shot at #1 at one point.

I fully expect JLS to go to #1 and disappear from the top 40 within 6 or 7 weeks whilst Yolanda will probably go to #2 and hang around for a lot longer or maybe climb to #1 the following week. I'm 100% certain that the latter will outsell the former when all is said and done.

It'll be like Scouting For Girls beating Plan B to no. 1 whilst 'She Said' (deservedly) became the bigger selling single thus proving peak positions mean nothing.

Anyways if Yolanda Be Cool is getting released next week, them I'm championing 'We No Speak Americano' for no. 1 ^_^

Why is Shout climbing? It's back up to #30.

While we're back on the topic of footie for a bit, f***ING HELL GHANA. >_<

Back on topic, no idea really.

I'm firmly in the Yolanda Be Cool camp, just because we've had so much generic copycat pop/R&B doing far better than it should recently and it's always nice to see another genre/language (:kink:) at #1. Neither song is particularly popular on BuzzJack so expect a lot of 'worst top 2 ever' comments next week, but I actually love We No Speak Americano  I don't hate The Club Is Alive, I just think it's a step backwards from One Shot which showed signs of progression. Too true, JLS will easily go to #1 but I'm keeping my fingers crossed Yolanda can do something the following week (assuming it enters at #2 and doesnt fall in sales quickly). I'm pretty sure JLS will only have the 1 week and Professor Green will NOT reach #1 so who knows. It will definately outsell it by the end of its run anyway. There's been quite a few non #1s that are having great totals this year (for example Airplanes will easily beat Nothin' On you's total even though the latter reached #1). I'm pretty sure Billionnaire is going to reach #1 at the end of July unless The Wanted pull something out of the bag :o

I know, I wanted them to win :snif:

Why Shout is climbing I'll never know- have some people been living under a rock and just found out its released, not knowing England are out?

anyway, Americano beats JLS hands down- at least it sounds different, I will be rooting for it next week :D

when is Taio's Dynamite out here? I really hope that he will get top spot<3

I do like "Dynamite", but I keep expecting Jason Derulo to jump in and start singing "In My Head" over the chorus

Dynamite also soungs like another song to me, except I can't remember the name of it, for the life of me. :( It's a nice song though, but it will really bug me if I can't work out what song is sounds like!

'TiK ToK'? It has similar sound effects in the chorus... maybe that's just me?

No, it's not Tik Tok (although I do see where you're coming from). I think it's one of those really old songs I always hear, but I never know the name of.

Also, What If by Jason Derulo is now getting airplay, so it should start climbing from now on.

I think Steph Cunnigham(hollyoaks) if she released Tommorow, Tommorow which she sung on Hollyoaks would stop Jls.. No..No

Lets Petition Pheobe to release Smelly Cat surley that will stop JLS

 Steph Tommorow - I'd so buy that and Smelly Cat

Also, Eliza Doolittle is @ 12 on Irish Itunes - could PU be a UK top 10 or even top 5 for her?
