Afternoon all

Will really be keeping my fingers crossed for B.o.B today- first exciting chart in ages, but I really hope he does it, I dont want Katy there again and JLS would an injustice in my view :(

Thank god for Scott Mills :) seriously Reggie must have stopped caring

Hi Everyone :)

Thought I'd pop in.. Pretty sure B.o.B will be number 1 .. I'm sure JLS know that too as they looked very uncertain when James Corden kept saying "You are going to be number 1" on his show last night

Won't be posting today as no doubt this will be full of JLS hate posts

But in advance for when Drake charts:

 So glad hes got his first top 40 hit

is it only me who thinks JLS are just a poor tribute to the early 90's boyband MN8? same attempt at attitude, girls throwing themselves at them etc

normally not a fan of chart music but I don't think Airplanes is that bad a song actually :)

Rich do you know my retro choice?

Just listened to it, didn't ring any bells although I liked it.

Hi, today I'm following the chart online too as it's really really interesting, very exciting to see who is #1 today yay!

From three contenders I like the songs in that orders: TCIA >>> Airplanes >>> California Gurls. BUT I want them to chart like this: California Gurls >>> Airplanes >>> TCIA. For two reasons:

1. I don't like JLS (I just like the song) and don't want them to get another #1

2. Secondly, I don't like #1s which plummet like a storm from the charts.

Why Katy over Airplanes? Because I want another three-weeker at #1 this year. It will be the third this year and the second not by default (Roll Deep wasn't really a strong three-weeker). That's it. I'm tuning in! :P

Scott said "we have a brand new number 1"

So it's JLS or B.o.B?

I actually really like TCIA now  Its grown on me loads :P Katy for #1 though :D

He was referring to Wednesday's mids not today's chart.

Ah I must have missed that. Thanks for pointing out ;)

Dizzee Rascal and James Corden have recorded an unofficial World Cup song 'Shout'. And all England fans are being called to join them on the record by adding their own vocals to the new footie anthem.

The song is an infectious reworking of 80's Tears for Fears classic 'Shout' led by the inimitable rap of Dizzee Rascal. The collaboration was masterminded by Simon Cowell along with Dizzee, Nick Cage, James and TalkTalk to unite England for its team. Dizzee and James are donating all of their royalties from sales of the track to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Dizzee and James recorded their vocals last week and now it is the turn of the rest of England's loyal supporters. - HMV

Shout has stayed. WOW, didn't expect that! I think they have very strong physicals during the weekend.
I like 'Shout' but I wanted it to drop out of the Top 40, tbh. -_-
