95. Let's Go Surfing - The Drums

Hope this goes top 100 officially :D Then that's one more act crossed off the list of Sound of 2010 Poll acts without a top 100 single to their name.

OMG! I love that song.

Ke$ha is back up to #39. Weird.

Can only see The Saturdays getting top 5 and The Hoosiers top 10 and the Love The Way You Lie video should put it back up to about #2.

I think you could be underestimating The Hoosiers a little. I predict they'll be chart higher than The Saturdays easily - possibly topping the UK chart.

Flo Rida can only hope for #3 at the highest this week, which is where I expect it'll be.

Like someone pointed out, he's a day's sales behind and plus he's currently #7 officially, he needs to gain a REALLY substantial lead, I mean major to beat out either of the top 2. However I'm sure this week won't be his peak week regardless.

I'd love The Saturdays to get their first #1 single.

Don't see what's so great about the Flo Rida track... find it pretty bland myself!

It's generic as anything, I don't mind it too much but all his other singles barring 'Sugar' were MUCH better.

I'm wondering what the sales gap is currently between 1-6. I was under the impression both The Wanted and Travie McCoy were heading for excellent strong first week sales; The Wanted around 100k, Travie possibly 80-90k.

If Flo-Rida is "only" #7 up until last night then he still has today, tomorrow and Saturday to catch but his iTunes lead would be massive. I guess with three more days of sales, the track could catch up but The Wanted and Travie will still be selling.

An all new top 3 potentialy. When was the last time we had a top 3 consisting of new entries?

I already asked that myself the other day and got no reply.

But for the record (I looked it up myself afterwards) it was:

Week-ending 28/01/2006

1 Arctic Monkeys - When The Sun Goes Down

2 Notorious BIG - Nasty Girl

3 Will Young - All Time Love

4 Beyoncé - Check On It

With #4 also being new.

:cheer: for Oh No! Its by far her best single yet, it would be amazing if it manages top 20! Deserves top 10 though.

Not so happy Flo is #1, imo it sounds really dated, and it got boring after 1 listen.

By the looks of it 'Beautiful Monster' is a sure fire #1, 2 cover versions in the top 200! :)

Edit: Just looked at the release schedule, theres quite a few big releases out that week, theres a chance it wont go #1 after all.

Oooft. 'Check On It' is so underrated! I hear a lot of bad things said about it, but I find it one of her better singles.

I agree, very catchy. Much better than other dirge she's been inflicting upon us lately (Ego, Videophone & Diva mostly)

GMTV and Chris Moyles is all I've heard/seen her on. They're not the most major promo though ... but still thrilled to see it doing well finally. :D
