I wonder if there are albums with the same name too: Love City Groove - Love City Groove from the album Love City Groove for example

I know that Modjo have an album called Modjo and the label is Modjo. Wonder why they didn't call 'Lady (Hear Me Tonight)' simply 'Modjo'

The only UK Top 40 hit (according to Music Week) to be named afterthe record label is The Prodigy's Take Me To The Hospital (2009 #38), released on the label Take Me To The Hospital.

Professor Green - Just Be Good To Green

and not a hit but Love Generation - Love Generation

Oh god good. Did Theo just say something that was actually funny? Why hasnt the world imploded already?

Well Little Boyo beat me to it, but yeah, I was going to mention the anthem that never was that is Love Generation.

a few hits from over the years...

Big Country - In A Big Country

Talk Talk - Talk Talk

Madness - Madness

Public Image Ltd - Public Image

Stray Cats - Stray Cat Strut

Queen - Killer Queen (seriously HOW could anyone forget that?!)

The Fratellis - Baby Fratelli

Those Dancing Days - Those Dancing Days

Animal Collective - Animal Collective

Enter Shikari - Enter Shikari

There Might Be Giants - There Might Be Giants

Fergie - Fergalicious

Timbaland - Oh Timbaland

there's probably more...

In terms of number ones's, I read once that in the whole history of the charts only "Doop" and "Mr. Blobby" have had the same title / artist. So in 50 or so years, it has only happened twice, and those 2 came within about 6 months of each other!
Queen - Killer Queen (seriously HOW could anyone forget that?!)

I'd have mentioned this if I'd known that was by Queen. :o

I think it was just a b-side, but Girls Aloud once recorded a song called Girls Allowed.

Pet Shop Boys also covered a song called 'We're the Pet Shop Boys' as the b-side to Miracles.

Neither of them were hit singles though

Faith No More could have done that as they released a song called Epic but unfortunately it wasn't on the Epic Label.

Is Love Generation - Love Generation on any UK digital outlets?
Scatman John - Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop) & Scatman's World

 No LCG stayed away from naming their debut album after themselves and called it 'Hard Times' instead! Apt name as it was so bloody hard to track down when it was released!
