August 17, 201015 yr The #40 album is likely to be DJ Fresh - Kryptonite I'd say, if it's definitely a new entry I would be so happy if that were true, so underated and deserves a good album position.
August 17, 201015 yr Author Drake, 3OH!3/Ke$ha, Jason Derulo (RS), Shakira and Alicia Keys have dropped out from last week's top 40 singles chart. What a sh*t singles chart this week, nothing has gone up, only 5 new entries, and Ash will bomb down by tomorrow.
August 17, 201015 yr Fantastic for The Sats..I'm really hoping they can stay top 5 and outpeak Wordshakers sales. Missing you may well climb top 5 again, Missing You from 'Headlines' is now at #63 :o Great News for RiRi and Eminem, Possibly hold at #2 at least, I reckon the reason why it's at #1 is all the pre-orders for the Physical are edging them ahead slightly.
August 17, 201015 yr Author MW report added to the first page, top post. The top 3 looks pretty tight, the #1 is going to chop and change all week, me thinks, Roll Deep might just walk it, with physicals attached.
August 17, 201015 yr +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Albums 1 Iron Maiden (22k) 2 Eminem (7k) While it's not that big a surprise to see IM at #1, the margin is incredible! :o
August 17, 201015 yr I would be so happy if that were true, so underated and deserves a good album position. Top 40 on Monday doesn't guarantee a good chart position on Sunday. QOTSA was in Top 40 last week and ended up #72. Edited August 17, 201015 yr by SKOB
August 17, 201015 yr Eminem should get around 28k this week then and The Sats around 15k. Wordshaker sold 15,022 on its first week. Looks like this isn't going to be doing all that much better
August 17, 201015 yr Looks like this isn't going to be doing all that much better So far 'Headlines' has sold 500 more units than what 'Worldshaker' had sold by the first midweeks last year, so no, there shouldn't be a big difference between both first week sales.
August 17, 201015 yr Oh dear oh dear Although I don't think tacking on two previous singles helped. I expect most are just cherry picking
August 17, 201015 yr Where's One Night Only exactly please? I hope Roll Deep are number 1 tomorrow. Edited August 17, 201015 yr by Jason
August 17, 201015 yr Headlines isn't even a proper album, it's ridiculous, they should have released a brand new album or a deluxe version with the extra tracks onto wordshaker. It's very cheap what they have done so i wouldn't be surprised if it sells badly.
August 17, 201015 yr Author Where's One Night Only exactly please? 5+5+5 Where are Michael Buble and Paolo Nutinin in the albums- Thanks Buble 3+3 Nutini 5+5
August 17, 201015 yr 'Headlines' is going fine. Yes, it doesn't sell more than 'Wordshaker' but Bertie, you've already mentioned that 'Wordshaker' was released in quite higher sales period. Taking into account that they didn't spent a lot of money on producing the new tracks this project will be quite profitable even without huge sales.
August 17, 201015 yr With all the devotion of the Sats fans I see here...Why aren't they doing better?
August 17, 201015 yr Author With all the devotion of the Sats fans I see here...Why aren't they doing better? The reason it ain't doing any better 1. There are only 8 tracks its not a full album 2. You could say there are only 6 new tracks on it, along with the current single 3. What do you expect from a low quality album 4. They are not the biggest British girl group, they will always come 3rd best behind GA and the Sugababes, I take Sugababes out of the equation, as their recent material is pretty naff, without me getting my head bitten off. Sorry if that sounded a bit harsh, just take it with a pinch of salt, its how I see it. I'm not having a pop at the Saturdays, just criticising the album for the lack of creativity.

Overall this seems as the worst marketing strategy of a band like ever.
