Same, but I wouldn't go until 12.30 after CD:UK and lunch (and SM:TV ). This was the point when I first started going into town with friends every week (aged 12/13) rather than parents. I only had pocket money therefore but all I used it for was singles, I'd buy 2 or 3 a week often. We used to have tons of indies in Brighton as well as MVC/HMV/Virgin/Woolies/WH Smiths all selling music too...now it's just HMV x 2 and about three indies left

Hahah! I used to go out after CD:UK as well! (yes SM:TV was brilliant!) We used to have loads of places that did singles, but at least we still have 2 music shops in town (HMV and Head).

That's better than most towns. Rounder Records rules.

Like the music on this, is it original or a sample?

It does :D I get the majority of my concert tickets in there! The little indie shop in the lanes on the other side is good too, can't remember the name.

Your sig is great! I thought it was someone impersonating GaGa until the end.

''Hello little bird.. fly away'' :kink:.

I absolutely hate the verses in this song but LOVE the chorus. :)

JLS, arguably the biggest boyband in the country, release their first single from their second album. The enormous club track, "The Club Is Alive", is a change in direction for the boys, mixing dance beats with soulful melodies and a hook many would recognise. Sounding like you never heard them before, the single shows why everybody’s in love with JLS. The Club Is Alive is the first single from the as-yet untitled second album which is scheduled to be released on November 22nd. - HMV

TCIA has now spent longer in the top 40 than 4 other number ones - Once, Dirtee Disco, Shout all got 5 and Everybody Hurts only got 4, this is now on 7.

This obviously excludes recent #1s ie. Beautiful Monster, Club Can't Handle Me, All Time Low

Looks like this is JLS' last week top 40! :cheer:

Really want Stromae to be top 40 this week, if he hasn't been played by 35 I guess AOD has just missed out again.

Come on Em and RiRi, a far more deserving #1 than Green Light.

Surprised but glad The Club Is Alive has another week in the top 40

Hopefully the next single is stronger/more successful

Really want Stromae to be top 40 this week,

It isn't. Reg would have played it as a new entry at the start of the show if it was.
