Em, dont you mean number 1 :P

I really liked 2 Hearts but not as much as ATL... better than Slow tho :)

For me it's All The Lovers >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Slow >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2 Hearts

the latter was a really weak lead single imo. Slow I loved because it was different and interesting, whereas 2 Hearts was less adventurous and also not as interesting a song imo. All The Lovers is divine  Contender for single of the year for me.

I've never seen the appeal with Hey Soul Sister at all

Really surprised its spent this long in the chart

Hey Soul Sister,

Ain't that Mister Mister on the radio?

No, it isn't, it's bloody 'Hey Soul Sister.' It's a good song, but it's been too long already.

Em, dont you mean number 1 :P

:o I must have forgotten to update that every single week

*correct*s

Thanks for pointing that out :P That's a rather major error

Anyway, Train climbing again -_- p*** off

IF Roll Deep are #1 then it must be so close to Eminem and Rihanna!
Oh dear, 'Hey, Soul Sister' :drama: I like the song but its been around for ages  quite an achievement for a song that peaked at #18 only

Hey Dreams congrats on your modship :)

Scrap what I said about Shakira, Hey Soul Sister is NU LONESTAR. What a run! Shame it went to #18, it could have attempted to have outdone Lonestar's run had it peaked three places lower! In fairness it probably deserved to be a top ten hit, but it's not exactly the sort of genre that commands the top of the UK charts these days so it's not exactly a surprise that it wasn't.

"Slow" was just a masterpiece to me.

It's one of the best Pop tracks ever to me!

All The Lovers is a great follow-up to I Believe In You, but it's not better than Slow.

2 Hearts was a rushed excuse for a lead single. Not that Kish Mauve's original version is much better... lol

Slow was boring, just the video made it sound good.

The origins of Train's widescreen, Americana-tinged rock lay in the coffee-house acoustic duo that singer/songwriter Pat Monahan inaugurated with guitarist Rob Hotchkiss after the two left the L.A. band the Apostles. Eventually they expanded to a full band and released their first album themselves before it was picked up for wider distribution. Though initially a sleeper, it slowly produced a couple of hits, and the 2001 follow-up DROPS OF JUPITER broke Train through to full-fledged star status with its grandiloquent title track. - HMV

How many of this years number one singles will be below 'Hey, Soul Sister' in the End of Year chart?

I think at least 3.

What's in your bag, Angelos?

About 3. Dirtee Disco and The Club is Alive will probably be two of them.

Slow was ok, but it was a huge disappointment after the Fever era. 2 hearts is a bit rubbish (in hindsight) and all but runied X by being the lead single.

All The Lovers is brillant though and a well chosen lead single!
