are you actually serious? :P he is probably the biggest new rap artist of the year

uhmm not joking. Maybe my radio doesn't play "the biggest rap artist of the year". He may be doing well on the charts, but never heard him on the radio.

 Was expecting this to drop like a brick with all the new releases! This years Journey?

Journey was this year...

What a f***ing AWFUL Top 10 that is.

At least its exciting with 5 new entries, though having said that all the songs that aren't new entries are just down by the number of new entries above them which is a bit DULLSVILLE, however as long as everyone is happy with songs debuting high then falling 1, 2, 3 then 4 places- Then its excitement a GO GO.

Yes I'm being sarcastic.

At least Prof Green is somewhere, I was worried Monster would miss top 40. :w00t: for Selena as well, she's doing great in the albums after the flop of R&R!!
Didn't notice Magnetic Man climbed up to #10 there :o I'm sure they'll be back down to 11-13 tomorrow though

well, hes done pretty well- his songs are really good, although you probably wont like him if you dont like rap music

Bring Me The Horizon will be the 5th (might be more I can't think of right now) act to face the 'heavy metal 2nd week drop' after:

Bullet For My Valentine - Fever went 5-34

Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare went 5-20

Disturbed - Asylum went 7-36

Stone Sour - Audio Secrecy went 6-29

(note: the above acts may not be 'heavy metal' as such but they're all uncommercial heavy rock bands anyhoo)

I don't know if you listen to it, but Heart FM refuse to acknowledge that Tinie Tempah exists, so if you listen to that station you won't know him.

I didn't know who he was until I woke up one morning, and saw him #1 on iTunes (this was back in March I think). Seriously, one of the most random things ever. I thought it was some sort of joke at first, and I remember reading the thread on here, and everybody was like "Who?". But everybody should know him by now.

Also, happy to see Magnetic Man top 10! It fully deserves to be there!

And Plan B has 3 versions of the song in the top 120 (I think) on iTunes, so that would probably make top 40 combined. The 3 versions are actually different aswell, which always helps (see Cee-Lo). And there's 2 (identical) versions of Monster on iTunes, which will also total to make top 40. Sometimes we only pay attention to the highest version, and then shocked to find it 20 places higher in the official chart than we expect.

News just in...... Take That fans' received opinion on FAILED chart topper "Shame" ;

"I don't think number 1 was a big priority anyway."

Ima - a lot of Take That fans (me included) couldn't care less that it won't go to number 1. I'll admit ... a few weeks back I did think, as most did, that it would get there on the strength of Rob's name (and his new 'bezzie' mate) but no-one thought it deserved it. In fact ... there are three other songs in that top 10 that I'd like to see in front of Shame on Sunday. With a bit of luck ... a couple of them may be.

I will however, be very, very, very angry if the new Take That song is as bad as Shame.

Mumfords! :D

I think the album could be huge up to Xmas if there's another single.

Blank White Page is getting a single release

Flamingo doing well :cheer:

Same with Aphrodite, another week top 40 for it.

I'm not surprised about 'Shame'. It's not a good song. I really like Take That but have little time for Robbie now. It's just personal taste, I'd not buy that song.

It looks like there are a lot of like-minded people out there!

Rob and Gary were AMAZING today on radio 1,BBC. They did and acoustic version of Shame and Robbie sang Shine which suited his voice just perfectly. Also they are on Paul O'Grady tomorrow so it should boost their sales. How big is the gap between them and Cee-Lo Green anyway?
