October 5, 201015 yr I think Kelly Rowland will be a climber tbh. At least, I'm almost 100% sure its position last week won't be its peak.
October 5, 201015 yr KR didn't even make the top 100 last week. It was released on Monday... so although it missed what I think is the highest sales day (don't quote me on that) it can't blame its crap position on being a 'midweek release'. It might climb to top 50/60 this week but top 40 seems unlikely barring some big boost from somewhere... Anyway, didn't notice M&S were back up to #4, maybe a new peak this week? :o Mumford & Sons & Friends on R1 seems to have ahd some effect on SNM, or maybe it's just the low sales :P
October 5, 201015 yr Hey! Given Rob and Gary's failure to hit the top ... if Take That's new single The Flood manages to beat off the competition (and it will be stiff given the CIN single) and get to number 1 ... is there a chance people could be saying 'Ah ... so Mark, Jason and Howard were the talented ones in the band!' Kath lol Im not sure that might be the case - but I reckon having "Take That" written on a cd has more selling power then "Robbie and Gary" I am shocked though - even if you take out that its not currently #1, I would have thought its sales would be alot higher than 27,000 - i was thinking this would be the fastest selling song of the year (at this point) Edited October 5, 201015 yr by Knightr634
October 5, 201015 yr Great to see Cee-Lo at number 1, miles better than that horrible dismal Robbie & Gary link-up.
October 5, 201015 yr I am shocked though - even if you take out that its not currently #1, I would have thought its sales would be alot higher than 27,000 - i was thinking this would be the fastest selling song of the year (at this point) I'm more surprised at that too. Its only sold a couple of thousand more than Greatest Day did at the same point almost two years ago (and I thought singles sales had gone up year on year). And I'm sure its sold less at the same point than Rob's Bodies did too. I'm afraid I haven't done my bit either. I will be downloading Heart and I (the other Barlow/Williams composition from Rob's album) ... its a really lush, sweeping melody with far better lyrics. Kath Edited October 5, 201015 yr by Kathyp
October 5, 201015 yr I think physicals might be missing for gabbie surely. They probably should've just released it earlier when all the hype for the video was going on. I wonder if kylie will stabilise in the next couple of weeks or whether she's down to fanbase buy already in this campaign. It all started so well too... ;-s
October 6, 201015 yr I think physicals might be missing for gabbie surely. I have the same feeling. I believe the numbers in sales will be very close on sunday. Let's wait and see! :teresa:

October 6, 201015 yr Author LOL at all the fallers inside the 40 singles chart, there is only 1 climber from Travie, and about half a dozen non movers.
October 6, 201015 yr Wow some unexpected movers there- Magnetic Man top 10? Professor Green and Plan B top 40? :o well no sales, but Im sure Cee-Lo will get it now, the lead may not be as big, but he should still easily beat them Edited October 6, 201015 yr by chart wizard
October 6, 201015 yr Does anyone know why the Dr Who album has entered this week two years after it was released? The album form this year's series isn't released until next month.
October 6, 201015 yr Author Does anyone know why the Dr Who album has entered this week two years after it was released? The album form this year's series isn't released until next month. The only thing I can think off is the Dr Who Live Stage Show and most people are probably snapping it up. The Doctor – plus assorted adversaries and creatures including Daleks, Cybermen and Oods – is to tour the UK this autumn with Doctor Who Live. http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/201...o-live-on-stage
October 6, 201015 yr Looking forward to some sales info. 'Shame' must be over the 40K point at this stage - F.U is prob well over 50K. It is surprising that 'Shame' hasnt shifted more in it's first days - I know it is a bit crap but you would think with both sets of fans combined it would easily top the charts. Just proves people won't just buy a single due to who is singing it these days - well not as many as before anyway. Rob's last lead single 'Bodies' sold 43K in it's first two days and TT's last lead single 'Greatest Day' sold 24K (and singles sales have increased a lot since 2008), so I would have thought 'Shame' would have sold at least 40K first day. What are the chances of Rob's GH getting #1 next week? The Script did it with only 34K last week, and Tinie's sales will be a fraction of what they are by next week so it is likely with little obvious competition in the new releases. With so many having the first GH and 'Shame' aside none of the other 20 tracks featuring that were not on the first one are being sung anywhere as promotion. He should have done a one off TV special. It is still possible it will get to #1 though even with average sales.
October 6, 201015 yr Honestly, I have never heard Tinie Tempah's songs in my life... Who is HE? are you actually serious? :P he is probably the biggest new rap artist of the year
October 6, 201015 yr Singles Adele 4+4  Was expecting this to drop like a brick with all the new releases! This years Journey?
