October 10, 201015 yr Wow, I thought this would be so much higher, I thought this could have gone top 5 I quite like it, but I much prefer I Need Air plus Katy B's vocals are irritating on this and ruin it for me Katy B's vocals are irritating full stop.
October 10, 201015 yr This tune was a top tune here in the US and by the way the version that is posted is a remix of the tune that became a hit on Radio but on AT40 with Ryan Seacrest the original version of the tune is played I was thinking that. I went on the US on holiday in July, and this song was quite popular, but I was sure it sounded different!
October 10, 201015 yr Why did Enrique go from 34-20 a few weeks ago? Help for Heroes Concert Anyway, am I correct in saying Disc-Overy is the first #1 album by a black British rapper ever?

October 10, 201015 yr Yay! Mumfords top 3! :cheer: and great for Tinie Tempah too :D ugh, so bored of this now- and its going to climb again next week thank to X Factor <_<
October 10, 201015 yr I quite like Bruno Mars, he makes 'Billionaire' decent enough. It's much better than the follow-up anyway, I hope Travie's murdering of Supergrass gets no where near the chart! :puke:
October 10, 201015 yr First British rapper at all? When has a white UK rapper topped the charts? The Streets, Plan B

October 10, 201015 yr imo Id say 9 or 10 at least for a number 1 or a song that remains relatively steady, if it falls 5 or more places every week after its week at number 1, then its a bit flash in the pan I don't agree. I even consider Rage Against The Machine's Killing In The Name as a proper (deserved or not is another question) number one in spite of its artificially propelled practically two-week chart run. It's sold more bucket loads in the end after all and that's the point of all sales based singles charts, isn't it?

October 10, 201015 yr Why has Billionaire climbed so much? Did those few extra sales in the last hours on Saturday evening really boost it that much? I love this song, but I really would've thought it'd've been more front-loaded, and got #1. There was so much hype about this song like 5 weeks before it was released, that it shocks me people are still only just deciding to buy it.
October 10, 201015 yr There must have been a UK rapper with a number 1 album before now? Kermit as part of Black Grape maybe? Can't think of a solo rapper though. EDIT: of course, The Streets. Edited October 10, 201015 yr by John_Squire
October 10, 201015 yr Why has Billionaire climbed so much? Did those few extra sales in the last hours on Saturday evening really boost it that much? A little, it climbed from being #17 on the 'almost Saturday chart' to #15 here.
October 10, 201015 yr I don't agree. It's sold more bucket loads in the end after all and that's the point of all sales based singles charts, isn't it? obviously there are factors that need to be taken in to account, Rage sold loads despite leaving after 3 weeks, as did The Climb- so, no I agree, they are not fail number 1s at all, just extremely front-loaded the same would apply to Helping Haiti and Shout this year- but songs that sell purely on merit that spend less than 8 weeks in the top 40 are very much non number 1s imo, which we have seen an increased number of this year anyway, I really hope this pisses off soon <_< Edited October 10, 201015 yr by chart wizard
