Someone called in, and Scott asked who she wanted to be #1, and she said Matt. Scott was like "Don't you feel sorry for Rihanna?", and she was like "Nah, she's had loads of #1s", and then Scott was like "No she hasn't, she's had loads of #2s, she's like the Queen of #2s".

theres no way reggie would have got that fact right!!

Make that two. There's a very limited appeal to hearing someone ask a banana what her own name is. Over and over again. :-)

Ha!

Indeed, OG is orgasmic

WMN is good but she's done far better.

iknow and it was different for her it being dancy and all.wonder why everyone went mad about whats my name?drake is hardly a massive artist over here, maybe it was popular in the us which is the usual reason why songs follow up and be sucessful in the uk?

It seems to be flopping in Europe and Australia :o :(

Really? :o Are you sure that it's not just got a later release date in some countries? Because, like in the UK, it was meant to be at the end of January, but it went top 10 on iTunes on the album release week, so they brought the release date forward by a month.

I would think it wouldn't do as well as Only Girl in Europe though, since Only Girl is almost a European song.

How come there isn't any other sales info around?

We are lucky enough to get what we do every week - its a bank holiday weekend, so be grateful for what we do get.

Good job Radio 1 'revealed' he was YE #2 last week then, even if it wasn't true at the time!

It looks like three of the five dropouts from the top 40 have fallen right out of the top 100, unless I've missed them: Mariah, Pogues/MacColl and the Hazelbys/De Burgh.

Coldplay managed to hang on in there at 87 from 24. (Heroes is the fifth one, falling from 22 to 47.)

When is the CD single and digital bundle out then?

RIHANNA #1

  :w00t: :yahoo: :cheer:

BEST SURPRISE OF END OF 2010 !

FINALLY #1 :) AND TOOK OVER TAKE THAT.

Sosososo pleased! :D

Willow: What's the last non-top 3 song to spend that many weeks at a certain position? I remember Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" spent a month at #18 in 2002.

Anyway, there was never a definitive answer to this, so I looked around a bit and the last song to have 3 consecutive weeks at a position not in the top 3 was Ne-Yo's Beautiful Monster which spent 3 weeks at #56 between 30 Oct and 13 Nov.

Last one in the top 40 but not the top 3 was B.o.B feat. Hayley Williams - Airplanes, 3 weeks at #27 from 2-16 Oct.
