I love 'Pass Out' but i'm baffled at how well it's done. Great song, but imo 'Frisky' and 'Written In The Stars' are much better.

Pass Out is his anthem though. IMO its a lot better then Frisky, and just a bit better then Written In The Stars.

Invincible is probably his best song though, but Pass Out his signature song. :)

So yeah, new year, new recap format. I'm messing around with it a bit to try and find something that looks good. Maybe I should unbold the song
This era had been great for Biffy Clyro. Given their ever growing, loyal fanbase, I can see their next album being their most successful, with their lead single going to number 1. It's safe to say that they're well on their way to becoming the UK's biggest band.

on their way to becoming a well known UK rock band perhaps, I can't really see them doing anything like Take That have done with their massive selling albums/tours  . Muse are probably the biggest UK rock band and Biffy still have quite a bit to go for that level but Only Revolutions is probably going to end it's run selling over double what Puzzle did, so the pressure will be on for the next one later this year as the major record label will expect more

 Maybe, but I remember an interview with him about the RATM battle and he said that he liked "chart music" so I don't think it's surprising the direction he went in. Of course, making it all sound as camp as it was might not necessarily have been his idea.

well, to see him TOTP's New Years ever show 2009 (as repeated on Watch)

he did look like a wet sock

Stuck in the 30s it seems, which is a shame. #29 peak!

I'm confused.

Din't Radio 1 had a year countdown last week? Or this week's chart is the las one that count for YE2010?

The chart of the year was last week. This is the first chart of 2011.

Thanks for all the work you put into these rundowns.

I would definitely have THIS WEEK's position first, and then to be honest get rid of all of the text formatting, it just makes things harder to read.

Cheryl Cole (born Cheryl Ann Tweedy) was a dancer and model prior to becoming a member of the record-breaking U.K. pop group Girls Aloud, which released 19 Top Ten U.K. singles within a matter of a few years. In 2009, the group announced a year-long hiatus, and Cole -- who had become one of her country's highest-profile celebrities -- took advantage of the down time to record her first solo album, 3 Words, released in October 2009. Within two weeks, the album went platinum in the U.K, led by the number one single "Fight for This Love." - HMV

Ooh, Cheryl has climbed! :o Although she's had three entries of it top 100 for a while on iTunes whenever I check her positions, so it's understandable. :) Great that it's extended its top fourty run to ten(?) weeks though. :cheer:

He needs to do a proper video for it, the basketball thing won't work in the UK. I think it's best song in a while, the remix at least.

I'm confused.

for many years they were always held on the 31st Dec, and rightly should be to avoid this confusion

Promise This up 5 at least to #33, couldnt believe when it was out of top 40 i think 2 weeks ago :o

When Only Girl released on same day is still #6 :w00t: and sold probably, nearly twice as much! :dancing:

Yes, I've never understood why people put the previous position before current position.
