Cheryl Cole (born Cheryl Ann Tweedy) was a dancer and model prior to becoming a member of the record-breaking U.K. pop group Girls Aloud, which released 19 Top Ten U.K. singles within a matter of a few years. In 2009, the group announced a year-long hiatus, and Cole -- who had become one of her country's highest-profile celebrities -- took advantage of the down time to record her first solo album, 3 Words, released in October 2009. Within two weeks, the album went platinum in the U.K, led by the number one single "Fight for This Love." - HMV

I wonder if The Flood will be a flop for Cheryl? It's officially released next week isn't it? I would like it to go top 10, this is one of Cheryl's best singles in my opinion, behind 3 Words.

oh dear, this falled, thats not a great omen :o it will need to climb seriously if she wants to get top 10 again

tbh, its very weak- and I have liked some of her songs :(

agreed, pass out was the song that broke him.written in the stars solidified his name but imo is more of a commercial song which is chart friendly!!

btw hads anyone saw the video for invincible showing the footage of reggie telling him pass out got to no1?

I agree with that tbh. And I have seen the video. I like it, although a lot of people don't really. :( Does make you realize how much Radio 1 have helped him though. There premiere of Pass Out on most commercial radio stations was when Pass Out entered the Big Top 40 Show at #1.

So bad that Cheryl flopping with this, it's easily better song than Promise This.

Nicole top 30, not lower than #29 :w00t:

Agreed, I can't believe how badly it's done, and it's just embarrasing to fall this week, of all weeks...

Love to see the climbers at end of year. Good for the saturdays, add a little extra to their chart run ^_^

That's the first time i've heard The Flood by Cheryl in full, it's actually not THAT bad. -_-

Promise This up 5 at least to #33, couldnt believe when it was out of top 40 i think 2 weeks ago :o

When Only Girl released on same day is still #6 :w00t: and sold probably, nearly twice as much! :dancing:

just another example of a song getting to no1 because of xfactor promo - without that the song would have been top 5/10.its pretty short chart run goes to prove the majority of people didnt like promise this!!

Taio has climbed 10 places 2 weeks in a row now, he's gone 49-39-29. Useless chart fact there.

29  (from 39) Taio Cruz - Dynamite [P]
