If Matt Cardle or anyone for that matter denies Rihanna of a #01 I shall not be happy.

I think Matt Cardle should end up being reasonably successful. He has the looks, humility and unique voice to continue being popular.

Joe McElderry doesn't need to worry at all though. Now that he has the contractual pop album out of the way, he can concentrate on the career in musical theatre for which he was always destined. If he plays his cards right, he'll be the new Jason Donovan/Stephen Gately in the West End. With the right management, I think he could even be as successful as John Barrowman/Michael Ball. Joe will earn an absolute fortune and will still be appearing on chat shows and in theatres in 10, 20, 30 years' time. Who needs a pop career?

Hello Mrs McElderry

I think "When We Collide" was a bad choice as a single. His voice doesn't seem powerful enough to sing it. I think he would have sounded better with another song.

I think it was rather a good choice - totally different from the usual cheesy winner`s single - slightly over-produced in parts, but then he was never going to be allowed to do a stripped back accoustic version. It does confirm the direction that Matt wants to take with his music though. I think if he is allowed to take his band on board with him and write his own album then the future looks good. He is capable of writing good songs - we know that (well those who have heard Seven Summers do and some of the lyrics he writes are pretty damn good).

Wonder where Baker Street is, in the mids?

Not top 40 considering its top 30 on iTunes, could be floating around the 41-50 mark

 You thinking they are appalling isnt stopping her from being huge worldwide, having her biggest era yet and dominating the charts. Loud is brilliant, and What's My Name is one of the best tunes out there.
