Who do you think will prevail when both albums are released on 24th Jan?

I think Bruno Mars will just beat Adele. Bruno seems to have a lot of fans, and two massive singles (plus the two collabs), so I think he'll sell a lot of albums. But it'll be very close, Adele will be huge this time as well.

Adele will do 100k. I would say Bruno would do 80k but he could do 100k. Adele to edge it, but Bruno should go to #1 at some point.

it will probably be bruno mars, he moved the date of the release forward because so many people wanted it, and according to BPI, 60,000 copies have already been shipped

I think and hope Adele will win.

Adele will win as it will be her first week versus Bruno's second week.

Deffo 100% Adele. Bruno hasn't hit number 1 in any major countries, despite JTWYA and Grenade being no. 1 in many country, so is proving to be a singles act. DWAH hit no. 3 in the US, 5 in Aus, 2 in New Zealand, 3 in Canada, 37 in Denmark and 29 in Ireland (plus 79 in the UK on imports) so while it's doing well I can't see being a UK number 1 album, especially up against someone like Adele!

Oh :mellow: Luckily they've brought his album forward! :D Sales aren't particularly strong at the moment and there aren't any other major releases next week, so I reckon Bruno will get to #1 for a week before ADELE gets 3 or 4 weeks at #1.

Adele 175,000

Bruno Mars 90,000

Good move bringing Bruno Mars' album release forward. In that case, both albums will most likely be no. 1 after all. :D

 

As there's a poll, I'm voting Adele as I reckon '21' will have higher opening sales whilst Bruno Mars will probably be a consistant seller.
