P Diddy is easily one of the most famous people on the American music scene, not sure if you are being facetious.He started tweeting Alex B and JLS last week yet another American who knows how to get attention.Pleased he is doing well I like his new group especially the videos.He got 10,000 people at HMV today-go figure.

I would say Ke$ha is kind of a rapper. I love the talk/singing thing she manages in her songs, it's what makes her amazing :wub:

Yeah, like how she changes between the two so smoothly, and how she can do a mixture of both, so you can't actually tell if she's rapping or singing at any given moment in time. She's like the female version of Drake. :lol:

Coming Home has done so well considering it looked like it would probably only make Top 20 at the start of the week. Probably my favourite song from Alex Da Kid

There is no way in any form that Kesha can be considered a rapper, just no.Sadly the white press has too much of a tendency to try and take black styles and put a white face on them. Talking fast and rapping are two different skills.Even the white girl in UK group Ruff Diamondz is a better rapper.

Just fyi, I don't think those people are saying Ke$ha is a hip hop artist. I'm pretty sure 99% of people would class Ke$ha as pop, they're just saying that they think she raps (i.e. she speaks rhyming lyrics in time to a beat). A song containing rapping does not automatically make it a hip hop song, and likewize, if an artist raps, it doesn't automatically make them a hip hop artist.

Perhaps what Ke$ha does is closer to spoken word than to rapping. Ke$ha herself says that she raps, although the person who signed her said he doesn't consider what she does as rapping.
