January 23, 201115 yr Not to sound like a Kylie loon... but that's the first time I've heard the Travie version of Higher and it was diabolical :puke: Have Radio 1 actually lost their ear for a good tune picking that over Kylie's or even the original to playlist - even Taio's decent verses have been removed in favour of Travie McCrap's useless input :( iagree, pretty cynical move from radio 1 and taio cruz here, he got travie mccoy for the us market and kylie for here but radio 1 dont think kylie is cool anymore so play the travie rap as an appeasement to the us loving british public thats de 18!!

People feel she's overrated, so even if Cheryl makes a genuinely good song, they'll still refuse to like it, and will criticize other people for liking it. For some people, since Cheryl isn't the best singer in the charts, they won't like her songs, even if she makes the best song of all-time. Basically, DON'T CUT OFF YOUR EARS!!! It's fine to like it. Ignore what the haters say. :) That said, I don't actually like this song. :lol: But I thought 3 Words was incredible. Very haunting and unexpected from Cheryl imo.
January 23, 201115 yr Thought cheryl might have been a few places higher, i think this single underperming will do her favours in the long run, i think there was over exposure of her for too long and the whole princess of britain thing is completly over hyped, this may make her realise she has to work hard on her material or she wont just succeed on the back of being liked, promise this did well but without the x factor performance it would have sold a hell of alot less.
