February 9, 201115 yr I know what you mean, though The Naked And Famous are quite good. As for Hurts, they gave up on them after Wonderful Life (I don't think Stay was ever playlisted). Sunday was Record Of The Week on R2 last week though it's a bit worrying that the video has still to premiere. It's weird because I genuinely believe Hurts have all the makings of being a huge pop band but they are largely overlooked here (although I believe they are pretty big in some European countries). I genuinely have no idea why they haven't taken off here (my wife tells me the singer is also very cute, lol). Their album is chock full of pop anthems and if one of the popular boy bands had released Stay it would have been number 1 for weeks! It's almost the perfect pop song IMO. Any ideas? Used on the Sky HD ad last summer and caused a big reaction (if the many posts on the youtube vid were anything to go by - 'thumbs up if sky sent you here' etc)

February 9, 201115 yr Stay and Sunday are both excellent songs, but frankly if I had been their management I would have released Illuminated second and held the official release back of Wonderful Life, both would have been top 10 hits and they would be much more successful. They have a small hardcore fanbase here (I know, because I'm part of it :kink:) but they are never off the radio in German-speaking and Eastern Europe...
February 9, 201115 yr Plan B releasing a SIXTH single? :o Writing On The Wall has been my favourite since release, absolute belter of a song. :D Much better than She Said, Prayin' and Love Goes Down and a smidge better than The Recluse and Stay Too Long. :D All six singles have been Radio 1 playlisted. :o

February 10, 201115 yr Why wouldn't any of them not be? I just didn't expect them to playlist all six. I thought they only did the first few singles from an album, not the fourth, fifth and six too.
