Adele owns the music landscape in the UK at the moment, no doubt about that!

Fantastic for Adele.... her performance outshone every other performance last night and gave me goosebumps.

 

Really hope she can get #1 if Lady Gaga doesn't get it. Don't really want Price Tag for a 3rd week!

Adele will have a couple of big days sales, but is certain to tail off by Saturday, whereas Jesse J will remain about the same and Lady GaGa will get a boost from the Grammys which were broadcast tonight.

 

I predict on Sunday

 

1. Lady Gaga (100k)

2. Jesse J (90k)

3. Adele (85k)

I'd love adele to be #1 officially on sunday :)

Ahhh, but don't forget Adele is the Queen of the Weekend sales..

ok Adele is around 15 in charts ok.... Nice Lead on itunes.

Flo Rida was around #10 at this time in charts and had a massive lead on Jls - the club is alive on itunes

Yet only charted in at 5! If Adele is in the top 5 tommorow she will most likely defo get number one, but the top 10 will have strong sales and adele got alot of downloads last night, i do think she will trail of though.

I do hope she gets #1 though. Hopefully she gets a few more spins on the radio to help maintain her sales for the meantime.

Whether Adele's No.1 or not on Sunday, her album sales will go through the roof with this exposure.

Gaga and Jessie J will get a really good weekend effect.

200,000 album sales this week possible?

Yeah, I probably am way off, but how do you think you know any better? :D Do you have common sense, or something?

To be honest Gagas release hasnt lived up to the hype surrounding its release, im not surprised its not doing as well as everyone expected. I think the general music public have had enough of her and her weirdness and public stunts and the fact that she really isnt that original at all.

I really hope Adele gets to number 1. There really is no comparison to me and anyone with any sense would see that as well.

 

Adele:1 lady- 1 amazing voice -1 piano - 1 performance = pure talent

Gaga: 1 lady - rip off Madonna - public stunts to boost publicity- average voice

 

Adele all the way... and if she can get number one with just the Brits then that is bloody amazing.

 

PS: Im not a Gaga hater, just dont understand the big fuss, there is nout special abhout her music, its her image that draws people to her.

WOW. Such a beautiful and stunning number 1! (Only just catching up with the Brits myself) But that performance was, WOW. Absolutely breath taking. A very deserving song to overtake Jessie in the charts IMO. Hopefully it'll be 01. Adele/Jessie, 02. Jessie/Adele, 03. Lady GaGa, come Sunday's officials!

I think there will be a right big battle for the top 3 positions this week which is exciting plus the top 3 should all sell quite well this week. I think even if lady gaga misses out on number 1 with born this way she will get a number 1 with the follow up.

Yeah, the follow up is going to be another pre-album single, so she'll probably go #1 everywhere in the world with a massive lead all over again in like April or whenever. :lol:

^ and then lose it (again) as the front loaded-ness will be even less epic than this song was. Theyll most likely be somethin better thatll take over mid week (like right now) LOL
