Posted February 19, 201114 yr From something gooddelta said about looking at the mid weeks on teletext in 2001, I realised that the first proper midweeks I knew about were in 2004 when I dicscovered Coolclarity! I suppose you could count the Chart Show charts (and then CD UK) which gave a good idea, but were they based on the actual midweeks?
February 19, 201114 yr I think it's when I used to check the commentaries back at 2008 on Yahoo!. That's where I saw comments about midweeks. So yeah. Took me months to find the topics and etc. Wasn't easy for me. :D Edited February 19, 201114 yr by FM11
February 19, 201114 yr When I first got regular access to the internet so probably in about 2001 or 2002... and the Sunday chart show has been ruined ever since.
February 19, 201114 yr Early 2010 when I found out they were doing midweeks on Radio 1, didn't know a thing about midweeks before. Oh, and during the RATM chart battle, it was news that they were leading the midweeks, but didn't realise that midweeks were on every week and thought only the record company knew about sales during the week and decided to release them that week for publicity. And then later I found digital spy and looked at their midweeks, and then of course I found buzzjack and now look at these midweeks.
February 19, 201114 yr I first discovered the actual midweeks when I first discovered Buzzjack in 2008, I always used to look at the mids topics and almost saturday charts before eventually becoming a full member before that, I listened to Chart Show TV where they had a top 10 countdown, which I think was based on the actual mids, but I think early mids as there was a lot of errors with the actual chart
February 19, 201114 yr About 2000, I used to read them on Teletext, as mentioned above, they were updated on Wednesday afternoons at about 4pm, and then from 2001(?) they were on a site called 'Worldpop'. I know it was that early because I recall reading about The Corrs being in a close battle with Steps for #1 in summer 2000 - Steps eventually fell to #5 that week... And then I joined Top 40 Charts forum and the AATW record label forum in 2003, Cool Clarity in 2004 and here in 2006 to get the info when I realised that it was published on Tuesday's on these sources!
February 19, 201114 yr I only found out about mid-weeks like 2 years ago, when someone posted some on another forum I used to go on.
February 19, 201114 yr 2008, when I actually discovered Buzzjack. Before that I had just briefly followed the weekly chart from time to time.
February 19, 201114 yr Pretty sure it was around 2001/2002 when I used to lurk on Dotmusic forums - never posted though as I was far too young. After that they were posted on another forum I went on (nothing to do with this site or the one that came before, though I do think they were probably stolen from here/there!)
February 19, 201114 yr 2001/02 on dotmusic forums, later on Top 40 Charts forum, there's where I met Gooddelta, Hitstastic, Suzie, and DSQ plus a few others, blimey I know Rich and Chris for the past 9 to 10 years, time to grab my coat.

It has been an insanely long time  I was back in the first term of college when I first found that Top 40 Charts website in 2003. From then on I used to sneak onto the computers on my morning break to check out the 'Kim Weeds' and 'Snails'.

February 19, 201114 yr Pretty much late 2010 when I began looking at the charts and discovered first the Radio 1 Chart Update, then DigitalSpy and Buzzjack.
February 19, 201114 yr For me it was around 2005. I knew they existed somehow or another but never knew how to access them and thought they were top secret stuff. That's how and why I googled them and came across Cool Clarity!
February 19, 201114 yr Thanks Mikey, without your help I would have never of CRACKED THAT CODE. Really? At first I was a bit like "What the...?", but it was pretty easy to work it out in the end.
