Greg, he played all the songs bar one when he was sitting in, and didn't waffle and got on with the show

Scotts good too, although he does tend to skip a lot of songs and waffle as well- Reggie is just repulsive

I prefer Scott Mills as a DJ but voted for Greg here. Scott should stick to his usual spot because I love his show. I enjoy Greg's show too but as has been said he'd focus more on the chart. Reggie should never be let near a microphone ever again.

Yeah, I meant 'Whom do you prefer as a presenter of The Official Chart Show on Radio One', but apparently I can not edit the poll... ;)

Well i guess Scott or Greg are better at getting on with the shows without all these games and would be less annoying to listen to and get facts right but I do enjoy Reggie too :P.

Greg James is very good at doing the Chart Update and was a brilliant host last time he did the main show, so him. :D
My biggest peeve is when they don't announce songs before they play them - unless I know the songs, am I supposed to be telepathic?
It would only make sense for Greg James to do it as he does the chart update, Scott Mills should stick to his afternoon show and his 'Ready For The Weekend' Friday night floorfillers. Him doing that and the chart would be a bit much, it would be as if he's taking over R1. Of course Reggie Yates should not be doing the chart, he gets facts wrong a lot of the time and his games are among the most stupidest games of all time. How exciting... a game where a celebrity (who normally isn't a very big celebrity) says their favourite number! NOT! I would rather some more songs be played then stupid talk!
Agreed-that Chart Numbers game has to be the most moronic thing ever invented-and if Yeates says that "the only thing you are playing for is pride" one more effing time............and i really really don't care who is doing what whilst listening to the show-just play the sodding records. I can't bear his pronunciation (or lack of it) either-he is the most awful chart show presenter ever-and I love it when he is on holiday. My choice would be Scott Mills, but Greg James did a good job as stand in.

Whilst I understand the need for a few breaks inbetween records for entertainment purposes, which is basically what the games are, the chart show does appear to have some rather naff ones at that. It's like it's producers really cant be bothered to think of anything that would actually take some effort or imagination.

Whilst he's not really to blame for these games or the songs that get skipped I presume, theres still something quite appalling about Yates. I voted for Greg, but it's very unlikely surely that either he or Scott will ever end up presenting full-time unless they got demoted. They both currently have 5 weekday slots and are likely to be promoted if Moyles leaves in the near future. Has Matt Edomondson ever presented the Chart Show? I imagine he'd do a decent job of things.

No, Matt has never done it. I don't think he'd be great at it, but better than Dev and DEFINITELY better than Reggie. As you say, there is a need for a few breaks in playing the chart songs, but not when they're idiotic vehicles for the presenter to push his own agenda. Scott Mills is my fave, because he is cuter than has more of a personality than Greg, but he still takes the chart relatively seriously and plays most songs.

I think Matt has done it once. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else though.

The normal 3rd choice if Scott isn't able to do it is/was Dev, who I think is quite a good host but most of BuzzJack seem to disagree :P

Greg James because he does a good job in the Midweek chart and doesn't skip most songs.

Scott and Greg are both good. They actually genuinely seem interested in the charts, makes it more endearing to listen to! ^_^

Reggie presenting it really annoys me.

No, I'm with you about Dev. I now wake up during his early morning slot and I think he's great (musch better to wake up listening to than Moyles). I actually find him funny and can't understand how he and Reggie are best mates.

Either Greg or Scott. Reggie isn't that annoying IMO but the other two are a little more sensible (it's the chart show, y'know) without being annoying too.
Greg James Scott Mills
Greg James - I despise Scott Mills - he's a nasty waspy queen with the musical knowledge of a gnat.
