oh do shut up u take things way to seriously lighten up its only a song actually love it so much now :)

I find your ID name "Troylovesmusic" to be a tad ironic really, because you clearly DONT if you support something like this....

And, frankly, your rather, grammatically childish (seriously dude, COMMAS AND FULL STOPS would be nice) comment shows me that you haven't even bothered to digest the arguments of myself and others, who have serious concerns over the way that this whole thing with Ark has been put together...

Personally, I hope Black/Death Metal band Behemoth do it.. In Polish....

As for your second point, indeed.. In fact, I think the question has to be asked whether Gary Glitter is actually a silent partner/investor in this company..... -_-

Nearly 22million on You Tube now.

People need to lighten up about it.

We have to understand music is not just about the talent or the quality. There are two sides to music : music as an art, and music as entertainement/fun. Sometimes both sides fit into one, sometimes they're seperated.

People will sometimes buy a song not because they think it derserves a Grammy, but because they want a fun song to dance to or to put a smile on their face or just to enjoy a bit of fun. Songs can be crap quality wise, but good entertainement wise. It all depends what people want to do with it.

So many dramatic events happen in the world right now, so I don't get the drama if some people can get a bit of fun out of a fun song and take it for what it is. I think it's rather positive, or at least it does no harm.

*sigh* somone else who's not really getting what all the criticism's about... Although, unlike most others you have actually structured a pretty good argument, I just don't agree with it....

Look, the tune is sh"te, that's not the issue, I dont CARE that the tune is sh"te (there's plenty of sh"t music out there that I happily choose to ignore)... I care about the exploitation of young girls that is blatantly being committed here and you appear to defend...... If this was a religion and not a music company we'd be using the word "Cult" right now, and really not listening to arguments of "oh, but it might be positive and fun, blah, blah, blah...", BOLLOX.... There is something very, VERY not okay about this whole set up.. Wheedling money out of deluded parents, and these rather scary posed pictures... There's just something NOT RIGHT here... And it seems to me that in making excuses for this and coming up with rather irrelevant arguments such as "oh, it's just a bit of fun, lighten up", you're detracting from the fact that it's all very seedy, creepy and dodgy....

I thought the Disney Club was bad, but they're positively TAME in comparison to the cold, heartless b'astards who run Ark Music... I never thought I'd actually manage to come across even bigger creeps than Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, but, God, these c'unts manage it....

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I mostly gree with you on that.

My point was more about the "crap" side of the song, it was directed to the people slagging off and insultling other people who buy 'crap' songs and calling them morons for that. In most forums we read a lot of comments going "ooh people who buy $h!t like this need to be shot" etc etc, I was referring to that kind of comments. I would never buy this song (or even listen to it again), but fair enough if other people do.

I do think the whole business behind those young girls is disgusting for sure. Although, to be honest, I find it more disturbing when 9yo Willow is singing about turning her swag on and such.

The boldened part is where we differ... I tend to think that if you buy this then you are enabling the exploitation to continue.. Every download of this track is really like a "greenlight" for Ark Music to continue its exploitation... So, I don't really think it's okay, I think even as consumers we still have a modicum of responsibility and we have to be a bit more aware..... It's hard in a lot of areas to be ethical, because information isn't easy to come by, but here, it's directly in your face, so, I think we could do something here.. Well, actually, no one really has to do anything in reality, just dont download anything relating to this wretched bunch of exploiters, then they don't make any money, then they'll leave these kids alone to grow up normally...
