Grenade on the other hand, I think it possibly is the worst song of the year (if that counts as a 2011 song)!

11th week top 20 for this, hopefully it'll p*** off out of it next week and not stay for a ridiculous 19 weeks like JTWYA did.

So glad to see Kanye West in the top 20 at long last, had feared a month or two ago that it was just going to flop; but being proven wrong has never felt so good. Hopefully we'll see it in the top 15 next week and I'd pass out with excitement if it could manage to peak within the top 10.

 

As for Alexis Jordan and Bruno Mars, I wish both would just tumble right out of the chart. They remind me of January-American-Chart-Domination, which is my least favourite month in terms of the UK chart. At least Chris Brown hasn't had too bad a tumble, although the release of F.A.M.E. is probably to congratulate for that. Just annoyed that 'Look At Me Now' didn't creep into the top 40, or 'Next to You' with J. Bieber.

I'm hoping this is the last week 'Grenade' will have in the top 20, such a dull song now.

I am actually starting to despise Adele now, holding the number-one and number-two spots on the Album Chart means that acts like The Vaccines, Jessie J and now The Strokes miss out on a deserving number-one spot. It's already gone 5 x Platinum, can we please see a new number-one.

I hope so. I despair for our country that we have Grenade as YTD #1. :( Although it's rare that the YTD and year-end #1s are actually good, I suppose. :lol:
