Yes, Americans have no taste.

His last single No Sleep is number 1 on US iTunes atm.

I don't think it's even a proper single. It's one of those promo songs they do for albums.

But yeah, Born This Way is still #1 officially in the US. :( And probably will be next week aswell.

Apart from Don't Stop the Music, Russian Roulette and Te Amo. :(

But yeah, looking at her discography, it's incredible!! :o

I really love Don't Stop the Music, possibly my favourite of hers. I think it's incredibly catchy, although admittedly a lot of that is down to the MJ sampling.

The lyric in Black and Yellow obviously isn't homophobic, if that's what people are suggesting.

Black and Yellow was INSANELY popular in the US. There would've been uproar if he was being homophobic.

Not necessarily that it's homophobic, just that it's not necessary and done for the sake of saying lesbian  Plus, the idea that the USA is somehow less homophobic than the UK is a bit skewy.

Glad Jessie is still in the top 5. The chart run for this has so far been incredible. I am seeing her live on Thursday night, going to be the best night of my life.
Then what on earth does it mean then? Sounds homophobic to me.

The word 'freak' is not negative in the sense he's using it.

Very jealous!

did he not get any top 40 peaks with NWA between 1987-90 on the singles or albums chart?

Oh yeah. He was in some sort of rap group before that or something.

I just checked, and his first hit was called Express Yourself which charted at #26 in 1989!!! :o :o :o

Wonder if he knew he'd be this big. I wish I could've followed his career from the beginning. :(

With an eye toward reinventing the boy band sound, the Wanted formed in 2009, nearly 10 years after groups like *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys hit their commercial peak. Like those two groups, the Wanted was assembled through a series of auditions. Max George, a member of the short-lived British boy band Avenue, was the most famous singer to land a spot in the outfit's lineup, while Siva Kaneswaran became the group's only Irish member. Rounded out by British vocalists Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes, the group topped the U.K. charts less than 12 months after forming, when their debut single "All Time Low" debuted at number one in August 2010. - HMV

I agree, I would say the UK is much less homophobic than the US!

No surprise GF is falling. It's alright, but pretty meh compared to All Time Low, Heart Vacancy and Lose My Mind

In what sense is he using it then? A freak is a negative, offensive word to describe someone..

Really got into The Wanted song after seeing the video on the music channels a few times this week. Although they just look ridiculous in the video.

He's using it in the hip hop sense where it is basically a synonym for 'kinky'.

Shame it's not top 3, still love Gold forever
