In any case, Retch cannot remotely match the size of Lady Gaga's fanbase...

I guess the above name change is what you call a Freudian slip... :P

If it continues to keep on climbing - could sneak a low top 40 entry

Tik Tok already seems to be falling quite fast. :( It might drop out of the top 40 by the end of the week (it's happened before).

I hope Kanye and Arctic Monkeys can go top 10!

I think Judas should definitely beat Wretch 32 and Example. I also can't see exactly how the song is controversial, in a religious sense though? Lady Gaga is clearly pro-religion. Isn't she a Christian herself? If the song is a Christian hate song then I could understand, but I'm pretty sure it's a song about betrayal, or something like that, and she's simply drawing a biblical analogy.

In the chart update Glee Cast 'Don't You Want Me' at #40 + 'Tik Tik' at #37, hope it stays that way but they're starting to fall on iTunes :(

I would love for them to fall down, Glee don't deserve the top 40 with any of these rubbishy covers - but I think they can get a decent sized hit with their original (:o ORIGINAL) song Loser Like Me

It was funny actually, because I was on youtube, and it said "Loser Like Me (Glee Cast version)". It seems like they've got into the habit of putting "Glee Cast version" at the end of all the songs, but in this case they shouldn't really need to, because it's the ONLY version! :o

Also, great to see Rihitney climbing.

Imo Rihanna and Britney should be Brihanna. 'Loser Like Me' isn't too bad a song, but it will get a lot of hate just because of the artist, and the theme of the song is something a normal artist wouldn't sing about - it should go top ten after it's performed on the show

I love Loser Like Me too! :D The other song I found a bit boring though to be honest. Although from the current episode, I think Don't You Want Me? is great. And the instrumental sounds like a mash-up of Bad Romance and Don't Hold Your Breath.

I can quite relate to Lose Like Me at times.

And yeah, Brihanna is better. Rihitney is more difficult to pronounce, and kind of sounds violent for some reason. Not to mention, it makes me think of Whitney Housten. So yeah, let's go with Brihanna. :D

Would be so deserved  Adore the song

Judas is being released on a Tuesday as it will be a worldwide release/premiere (don't think she really cares about releasing on a Sunday just to get a UK #1 lol). I love the way she's really bringing the excitement back in premiering songs/videos.

Absolutely CANNOT wait for it!... especially to hear how she delivers a few of the more obscure lyrics - "In the most Biblical sense I am beyond repentance. "Fame Hooker", "prostitute wench", "vomits her mind". But in the cultural sense I just speak in the future tense. Judas kiss me if offenced or wear an ear condom next time" ... :)

Well, to be fair, there's usually a lot of excitement in the US when Taylor Swift and Lil Wayne release songs, so it's not just Gaga.

And see, there's nothing wrong with those lyrics. Like 500 or so Christians won't understand the song and will get really worked up about it, and the other 1,000,000,000 won't care and will just enjoy the song.

What

I don't know!

Why aren't Rihanna and Britney climbing?! Oh no, what a disaster! :nocheer:

ONE non-American song left in the top ten then, and it's from Adele (naturally) but as low as #8. I wonder if we've ever had an all American official top ten before, if not it surely can't be far off. Where have all the homegrown acts gone? Or anybody from any other country for that matter :drama:
