Lady GaGa is a dance-pop singer from New York City. Born Stefani Germanotta in Yonkers in 1986, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU while performing at open-mic nights. A collaboration with rapper/producer Akon led to her signing with Interscope Records, which released her debut album THE FAME in October 2008. She scored a number one hit and a Grammy nomination with "Just Dance," which topped the charts in several other countries, but The Fame truly exploded in 2009 thanks to the single "Poker Face." By 2010, Gaga was one of the biggest stars in the world, aided by her new EP The Fame Monster and its single "Bad Romance." - HMV

If this had been released on a Sunday like any other release, it would have got into the top 5, but now it is looking possible that #9 will be its peak. Disaster.
Juda is still growing on me. I really don't like the chorus but I love the semi Jamaican accent on there.
well, its one place higher than Bad Romance was at this point, it will definitely fall out next week - I hope video/a possible BGT performance can get it at least top 3, 9 can't be its peak :(

Agreed actually  Is there a 50 Centless version tho?

The Fiddy version is just a remix - the original is exactly the same minus 50's verse. I don't really like his verse but I think the song wouldn't sound as good without it. I don't know.

Judas is AMAZING

It really pisses me off that Gaga, or her record company, don't understand that to be big in the UK you have to promote here, or at least have a video. It's like America 20 years ago.

Something my sister said to me today made me laugh.

"Have you heard Lady Gaga's new song, Medusa?".

I think it probably needs a bit more promotion, so people at least know it's title.

I remember everybody saying that #10 would be Bad Romance's peak in late 2009 so I'm not too concerned at this only at #9 so far, it's 'spent' a lot less sales than Born This Way had by this point, so when the video comes out, I'm expecting a much bigger impact. I know Bad Romance had the X Factor performance to help it along, but it did also return to #1 in January 2010, suggesting that it would have got there on its own merits eventually.

Shes here on the 13th for a week, with Graham on the 13th and R1BW on the 15th. The BGT live shows aren't until the start of June so she would have to come over again if she was wanting to perform on it, so it is highly doubtful.

The Los Angeles-based hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas has made a name for itself by taking an eclectic and organic approach to rap, R&B, and funk. Led by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Will.I.Am., the band also includes two other MCs, Apl.de.Ap. and Taboo, along with vocalist Fergie, and a live backing band. Building a steady buzz with its first two releases, Black Eyed Peas garnered mainstream attention with the 2003 album, ELEPHUNK, which launched Fergie's solo career and helped make Will.I.Am one of the most in-demand producers in hip-hop, pop, and R&B for several years to come. - HMV

The chorus sounded a little like Bad Romance. No, this is average. Only really liked Bad Romanc and Poker Face.

Yeah. Similar with The Time. I thought it was going to peak at #6 after it fell out of the top 10 on iTunes, but it climbed back in and got #1 eventually (again, with X Factor help, but it had a very consistent chart run after that).

Not to mention, a current example being Sweat, which fell out the top 10 for a couple of weeks but got back in with increased radio airplay.

No, you don't. People here seem to assume this just because Born This Way and Britney's singles underperformed. But Jennifer Lopez didn't do a single bit of promo for 'On the Floor', and that's huge. I'm not aware of LMFAO doing any promo either.

With that said, I actually do think 'Judas' will pick up in a bit... it's a grower, and WAY better than Born This Way.

This is growing off me, still love the switch-up verse but the rest is just a bit dull :(
